OK, where are you on the 1-10 scale of nervousness? Me? Was about a 2 last Sunday, but after a week of hearing about the prior game with Carolina , how Carolina has nothing to lose, about possible weather issues, I'm up to a 5. Confident, but aware that ANYTHING can happen in one given game.

It’s the playoffs, nerves are part of it. Excited to see them ball out and revenge that brain fart loss.

LET’S FUCKING GO!!!!!!

4.

We are vs. a playoff team, on the road, in potentially bad weather. They have big WRs we don't match up well against, and have beaten the Rams already recently (though we did control that game, it was turnovers that killed us). Our best offensive lineman is out, and though we are actually well above league average health-wise for this time of year, somehow the Panthers are even healthier, only with 1 (!) injury and not even to a key player. I also worry how much rust might be present with Adams and Lake.

So, I am confident. But it's the NFL. The game is losable. Despite what many pundits are saying. I expect it will be a fight. Plenty of factors the Panthers can point to in order to have hope. See above.

Sounds crazy but I’ll actually be more nervous if Stafford starts the game on fire. His best games it seems like he’ll start 1/4 for 7 yards with an errant throw or 2. Then he really gets cooking’.

Any given Sunday and all that.

So, always at least a five. So, for this one, I'll go with an eight.

My level of nerves never has anything to so with the result though. Just the amount of gray for my hair.

But if anything, I worry about when I don't worry. I didn't worry going against the panthers the first time. My mistake. No worries going against the Falcons. Bigger mistake. Stopped worrying when we were up 16 in Seattle. Won't get fooled again.

So, I'm worried.

Zero now that the game is over and they pulled it out.

Before Carolina's final failure to convert on 4th down? Eleventy seven.
