Frank Corral was not a reliable place kicker in crucial moments; and the Vikings also had the habit of blocking Rams field goal attempts.
one day i might just go TP mr matt blair's house just because..................

Bob Lee was quite a story, he had one heck of a year for the Atlanta Falcons in 73, took over for Dick Shiner (great name) and led the Falcons to a 9-5 record, their best ever under Norm Van Brocklin (The Flying Dutchman) actually one of the only two teams to beat the Rams that year and many felt the Falcons would soar with Lee in 1974, however, they crashed and burned in 74, got off to a 2-6 start and both Van Brocklin & Lee were gone.

How is Dick Shiner not in the name HOF

Long time Viking back-up Bob Lee had an epic revenge game vs the Vikings when he stepped in for a struggling Vince Ferragamo. Vince could do nothing that day and Malavasi replaced him with the veteran in a must win game for both teams. And this is how it went....
