The era of the passing game really didn’t come until the ‘80’s, and the Rams were a bit slow to the party. I was really happy when Zampese came along, and the Rams had an imaginative pass game. Those ‘70’s losses to Minnesota, especially, were brutal. I hated Minnesota. Dallas, at least, it seems like we deserved to lose a couple of those, but Minnesota, no way. Rams were the better team, and got juked on a couple plays, either on special teams BS, Paul Kraus, or the corrupt zebras.

Rams QB play and passing game was just so mediocre until Z and Everett. Those were some fun years when it was good.

Jackson, maybe. The other two never did anything in the playoffs.
So, Jessie's 27 yard TD reception among his six receptions for 108 tards in tarkenton's last game is nothing? Or his TD against St. Louis in the 1975 NFC divisional playoff? Got it. Snow's three receptions for 77 yards as the RAMS fought back against Dallas in the 1973 NFC divisional playoff was nothing? OK!
Besides the fact, Chuck Knox choked most of the time and the QB position was a case of musical chairs. The QB nonsense was what kept the receivers from realizing their full potential along with Knox's stubborness. Hell, you could say Ground Chuck was Jeff Fischer before
Jeff.
