We almost completed the biggest comeback in NFL history while being led by a 3rd year UDFA QB making his 3rd start, who the Rams cut last year.

It almost doesn't feel like a loss because of this. We need to clean up a lot, but we showed a lot of heart out there today. Usually there's no moral victories, but if we can become consistent we're a top team easy.

Brian Quick was a fucking BEAST!.... on my bench :snicker:

We almost won, played good vs a good team.

so was this the Rams offense making a good comeback attempt, or did the eagles defense back off ? i'm asking since i didnt get to see the game. no INT's by Davis. 2 fumbles though. blocked punt. what the heck ? the Rams give up the damndest td's against themselves.

This team has obvious us talent. Quick has become a monster, Stacy is still a beast and Austin Davis looks like a stud. To be honest, and it almost pains me to say it, Davis is looking better than Bradford did. He makes to 50/50 throws that Sam wouldn't attempt.

This team is not bad. They just have to clean things up. (However, we've been saying this for awhile now).

In parenthesis. We have been, but look where we are now. It's looking more promising of actions, instead of words.

Quick was amazing. Britt was pretty good as well. Tavon and Stedman both made plays. Stacy and Cunningham both ran hard. Our cornerbacks had excellent coverage for the most part. Even though there weren't any sacks, we did get consistent pressure on the Eagles. We bottled up McCoy.

But fate almighty, I can't say enough good things about AD. He has a bright future in this league, and I hope that it's with us. We have to make resigning him a priority because he should be the guy moving forward. I don't even think we need a quarterback in the first four rounds next year; that's how much faith I have in Davis.

This team has offensive weapons. Once we stop beating ourselves, we'll be fine.
