Lot of smoke that Browns will take Hunter and Giants will take Carter and they'll both try to do something beginning of 2nd/trade up
That actually might be good for the Rams as if they pass on QB, they might want to come back into the first round to secure their signal caller of the future. Again, IMO, the heir apparent to John Matthew Stafford lies in the 2026 NFL Draft.

In that draft the Rams will be Buyers not Sellers as they look to draft LaNorris Sellers out of South Carolina.

As much as I love Omarion Hampton I’m thinking this might be the best route for us coming up to the draft.

If those trades did go through, hard not to like this draft as all the positions were covered with a little bit extra. Kiser & Buchanan upgrade the ILB room plus special teams too and adding the likes of Lundt & Cooper gives some upside to the OL. Love adding any Slater too plus Kyle McCord as Stafford will think he is looking in a mirror and Norman-Lott makes the DL even better.

Not sure how I feel on that, one would surmise that Sanders should be the pick, but the Browns are unconventional for better or worse. Also would not be shocked if they picked Dart at 2 either.
If I'm Cleveland I take the Edge at 2. Their Edge pairing would put them in the playoff chase alone.

Then trade back into round 1 and take the QB they prefer.

Well that seals the number one pick.

Now that leaves the Browns and what they are going to do at QB.

I have a strong feeling they take Shedeur.
I agree. They must have a cheap QB on a rookie deal with their cap hell. Also, they told Garrett their plan at QB and he signed off on it. What else could it have been? There is no guarantee's to the Browns outside of 100% of getting one of the top two QB's.

I agree and maybe that QB of choice is Milroe.

On a serious note, I think Franklin had a few things going for him that superseded looks; wealth, power, and the ability to talk anyone into doing what he wanted.

There was once a mob of 500 angry Scots/Irish citizens fed up with serving as the de facto militia for the Quakers, that sat safely, far from the frontier in Philadelphia. This armed Scots/Irish mob was upset about a lack of compensation for their troubles fighting on the frontier, and were headed to Philadelphia to take out their anger on the peaceful Lenape Indians as a show of defiance. The Quakers were unarmed and never fought in a battle. Franklin quickly armed the Quakers, planned a defense strategy but then bravely headed off the mob about 50 miles away, all by himself. He was able to convince the rowdy and drunken mob to go back to Harrisburg and write down their demands and peacefully deliver the message to the Governor.

If he could do that, talking the panties off a few woman would be child’s play to him.
I’ll add - talking 7 layers of petticoats and undergarments off before their husband got back from the fields for a lunch break was even more impressive. All without a back door in the log cabins.

Titans, Shedeur Sanders agree to cancel private workout

The Titans had a private workout with Miami quarterback Cam Ward. They won’t be having a private workout with Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders.

Via Jim Wyatt of the team’s official website, the Titans and Sanders mutually agreed to cancel the private workout after Friday’s Pro Day.

“The Titans have seen 4 years of game film, scouted multiple games, and now attended a Pro Day they described as very impressive,” Wyatt said.

Still, a private workout provides insight that can’t be obtained through watching film, attending games, and/or witnessing a scripted Pro Day workout. And they happen without anyone knowing what was said or done to make the team more, or less, inclined to take the player.

Regardless of the spin that the team will put on the move, the decision sends a message that the Titans won’t be picking Sanders.

And that’s where the 3D chess of draft strategy becomes potentially relevant. If the Titans trade out of the first overall pick with a team that wants to spring up and pick Ward, the Titans would still need a quarterback. And so, as they willingly take a later place in line, they’d have a blinking red light regarding the possibility of picking Sanders. Which would make them a prime candidate to be leapfrogged by another team that thinks their Plan B would be Shedeur.

Alternatively, it could be as simple as the Titans knowing they want Ward. Or it might have happened because Sanders or someone close to him (like his father, Deion) asking the Titans whether there’s any chance the Titans would take Shedeur over Ward — and the Titans failing to persuade Sanders or someone close to him (like his father, Deion) — that there’s a chance they’d take Shedeur over Ward.

However it happened, the move will be widely viewed as a message that the Titans don’t plan to draft Sanders. Which could become very relevant if/when they trade out of the top pick and Sanders is slipping toward wherever the Titans will be picking post-trade.
WTH did I just read?

Dont know how realistic it is but that would be fantastic!
These Trades balance equal out and last year compiled a list to make an average of how many trades Snead averages every draft since being here. It’s 3, my drafts generally have 3-4 trades, this one had 3.

It’s mostly moving back to get value but I’m completely 100% in on Jalen Higgins and/or Darian Porter of Iowa State. If we draft just one of those two I’d consider it a win towards the future/immediate impact like Verse was.

Yeah thinking the same. However, I’m questioning if Deion will potentially try and talk his son out of the historically dysfunctional team.
