Allen didn't fumble. He scored the only touchdown through the air and committed a penalty, but that was it. It was Parkinson who nearly fumbled the game away.

Parkinson better give his game check to Landman, in all seriousness.
Ah. Thanks Memsie. Couldn’t hear the announcer and apparently didn't pay much attention to the jersey on the replay. I just assumed it was Allen. I’m actually glad it wasn’t. I think Allen has far more upside than Parkinson.

Agreed. Allen - Higgs - Fergs is the way forward. Fergs will have his rook moments but I think he'll be good sooner than later.

Allen dropped the pass over the middle that hit him right in the hands

He has been disappointing. Rams were so hyped and quick to sign him last year that I thought they knew something I didn't. But has failed to stand out in a good way. I think he had a couple positive plays last season but damn if I can't remember them.
Im sure hes gonna be Trade bait at the deadline for o'line help.

Ones that are not to my liking and need to go are Reeder, Corum, Limmer, Parkinson.

Corum, in all fairness, did well in getting a lot of yardage from a penalty on a screen. Limmer wasn't good, but he filled in both guard spots, which, for a natural center, was necessary and harder than it looks.

Interesting, thank you.

Only three players didn't see the field at all (off/def/st):
1) Jimmy G (of course)
2) DJ Humphries (no OT injuries)
3) Darious Williams

Really interested in finding out why Darious didn't play even a little, in a defense that managed to get snaps for Hampton and Murchison. If he was hurt, why even include him in the active 48? Just speaks to him potentially being in a dog house of some sort.

I had a feeling we wouldn't see much of him early in the season. We might see a little more of him in a couple months.
Me too, reading through the coach speak it felt this way. I will be a bit disappointed if he doesn't take snaps from Parkinson by 2 half of the season.

If I'm not mistaken, Limmer was a guard at Arkansas until his senior season.

That athleticism cliff can come quickly at his age.. and if Williams doesn't have his speed.. he doesn't have much to offer. It's a bummer, if that's the case.. but the secondary must have been doing something right.. I credit the staff with good schemes and the players with executing them.. because there's not overwhelming talent back there.
