Rams and Bengals match up evenly on Offense.

Defensively, Rams are very stout, fast and ferocious with the front four.

Special teams are even for both.

It’s the Super Bowl and it comes down to executing the “trick plays”. And the Rams have got to be prepared with trick plays and also on special teams.

Practice and expect the unexpected and the obvious. Remember the Lions game when everybody knew that the trick plays were coming and yet the Rams got owned on all of the Lions trick plays?

McVay has got to get the Rams prepare for that. Because trick plays can really turn the momentum around.

Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, and Tyler Boyd are as good as Kupp, OBJ, and Woods. Without Woods, I place them ahead of us as the best in the game right now.

The numbers and production say otherwise. Yes, they are good, but we are still better at WR, even without Woods.

I can post stats if you want me to. Or just look them up yourself.

I really like Joe B. Something about the guy, has "it". Whatever that is.
But Donald and Co. are going to feast on him.
Do you really think a team with a kinda small 2nd year QB, poor O line and suspect defense is going to keep AD from getting his ring ?
Not a chance. He might not make it to the end of the game.

I'm with you on the above though the quoted part here is interesting as we have actually survived mistakes that turned what should have been beatdowns into tighter games. So they actually have survived mistakes to get here.

But you're right that is the goal. Why make this hard. Wouldn't it be nice to have a nice big lead and finish it strong with no doubt or heart attacks in the faithful? :laugh1:

Every non-Rams fan is rooting for a close game... I’ll take the comfy win!

Their offense is impressive, but our dline should give their oline some fits.

So, expect something unexpected from them. Lots of quick stuff. Maybe a gimmick or two. Something to grab momentum. Be ready for that.

I also wonder if McVay has been sitting on his version of “The Philly Special”?… I bet “yes”…

Well it the year of the Tiger if you want to know the truth.

Why I lost money & The Rams traded for Jared Goff was beyond me? The Rams knew this SOFI Stadium thing was coming.

If your talking about Nick Foles & his TD catch.Who did it First? The GOAT had his TD catch as well as Nick Foles.
Talk about another Rams number 1 draft pick Sam Bradford. What did Les Snead get for him besides Nick Foles.
Then on Hardknocks Fisher tells Foles not to come to training camp & releases a future SuperBowl MVP who beat the GOAT. I’m not bitter.

After all that bitterness,I think the extra week of practice really helps open the playbook.

Sean Mcvay said something interesting though about getting the bulk of the game plan in early & then tinker with it. I think he wants more reps with the BULK of The Meat & Potatoes.

I'll take 33-20 or something like that.

Keep it close, maybe 27-17 going in to the fourth, Matt Gay and Evan McPherson hammer in some FGs, but ultimately the Rams D closes it out.

Of course a whooping would be hella relaxing.

I know the world wants a close game - but I've probably lost 6 months of life in the last 2 weeks. A beat down would be great.

Its the Super Bowl, it wont be easy. But boy wouldn't a 31-10 Rams final be wonderful?

I still dont think we've played our best game. The Best is Yet to Come.
I agree. I think we saw how good the Rams defense is right now in the last 2-3 series against the 69ers. If they do that for 60 minutes the Bengals will have to resort to long passes. And there will be sack and turnover opportunities galore. This Rams offense can score 31 points on the Bengals. I’ll call it now. If they do score 31 the Rams will win running away. But “If ifs and buts were candy and nuts, we'd all have a Merry Christmas.”

Their WRs and Burrow with time to throw scares me.

This is where Donald, Von Miller & Floyd earn their pay, ... if he's on his back or constantly running for his life, Burrows will be less effective. He hasn't seen the likes of this Rams defense before, and film can only carry him so far.

I don't see why both teams can't just pick whatever uniform they want for the Super Bowl, colour conflicts permitting of course (you don't want two teams in the same colour), as 99% of the time, there is no true home or away team. I'd love to see the Rams in blue and yellow again.
