and he's happy with that, no fire in his belly that's for sureVan is JAG anymore.
Because Stafford targeted him 5 times and none of the passes landed in the same zip code that Jefferson was in?Van is JAG anymore.
One hit him right in the handsBecause Stafford targeted him 5 times and none of the passes landed in the same zip code that Jefferson was in?
#9 is sure looking like a 40 million $$ mistake right now
I’m wondering if the best line combo doesn’t include Nsheke at LT so Jackson can be inside. Some duds...
1. Our screen game. How in the fuck can we not run a goddamn screen effectively in those moments they are needed. Also Stafford side arming them when he doesn't need to infuriates me. Jesus H can we please dedicate some practice time to these things.
2. Draw calls. Someone needs to introduce McVay to the draw. You can use that shit on early downs when defenses think you're passing. Like the screens that we cannot run, this is something that can help us. It is an every down toolkit item when you anticipate the defense pinning it back.
3. Evans obviously. Make the call coach.
4. McCutcheon on the bench. How can his big ass not help this anemic offense.
5. Route combinations. So many instances of teams sitting on our route combos. This might be the side effect of McVay saturating this league with his coaching offspring. All slimy and brainy and spawning anti-Rams cells in the NFL macroorganism.
6. Power. As in we have none. We get outmuscled on the line, in space, in the backfield, on the sideline, probably in the parking lot too. How is Coach not beyond tired of this.
Some studs...
1. Jackson. Dude gets hurt, comes back with no fanfare and resumes being the best LT we have seen this miserable season. I really appreciate this player and wish we had more like him.
2. AD. He really played a nice game. AD likes him some Bucs omnomnom.
3. Ramsey on that hit vs Fournette. You can count the corners on one hand who could make that play. The guy is like an ILB at corner.
4. Wags making plays on teams. Feels great seeing an old dog like him on teams showing the kids how it's done.
I would leave Jackson at LT personally. Nsheke would be holding the LG spot until Edwards returns, basically, at least to start. I'd want to avoid moving them around as much as possible as there is enough confusion out there with them already as it is.I’m wondering if the best line combo doesn’t include Nsheke at LT so Jackson can be inside.
Best 5 linemen, right?
If there is one positive development to these last few weeks, it is that Allen Robinson has played well. His middling numbers are not his fault. He has been getting open and yesterday made lots of tough, contested catches. It bodes well for next season when, hopefully, with a healthy o-line, he can be a real weapon. It was worrying for a second re: if that contract would become an albatross. But as of now, I have no reason to suspect it will be, or at least not due to ARob's doing.I grabbed 2 screen shots during the game of missed opportunities.
Both were completions, but both we missed a wide open A Robinson to the left for potentially bigger plays.
This was the tight completion to Jefferson:

This was the completion to Kupp, Stafford’s first read was Robinson, but he quickly moved to Kupp.

Just shell shock imo. Dude has no faith he isn't going to get plowed over every snap..
Something is very wrong with Stafford because he has been beyond awful this season.
.
Really?Stafford's old and not tom brady. time for a future qb
lol yeah its doesnt take long for the truly idiotic to start showing in times like these.Really?
