Yea its done this offseason.

A defense wouldn't sacrifice an entire defender like this, but just imagine a six man blitz where a LB pushes a DT through a guard. OR pushes him back and into the QBs knees.

Forcibly pushing a teammate should just be outlawed, period. Even some of those running plays that turn into scrums where everyone is pushing go way too far.

Cowboys tried something that almost worked. Have to have the beef in the middle to do it which unfortunately not sure the Rams have.

Clog the middle and have a DB come around the corner and grab Hurts legs.

Fuck it why not use it against them next week.

Honestly though, Jalen Hurt's vision is the most pivotal and underrated aspect of the play. He doesn't run straight up the gut. Before the ball is snapped, he looks for a weakness in the defenses formation and goes there.

Stafford can learn something for his qb sneaks. Last time, he ran into the back of Shelton and didn't go anywhere.

The only way to stop it right now is preventing them from getting into 4th and short.
Otherwise, as someone already said, you need to score more than them.

.

There's only one way to stop it.

A defender has to launch himself at hurts, after seeing where he's going, put his helmet down at the last second and hit that fucker in the helmet so he gets knocked out. The scum will think twice before running it again.

The casual fan loves the tush push, which happens to be the tv target audience for NFL games and also shows talking about the games.

As others have said, the key is to score more points on offense. On defense, win the early downs. Force them to become more of a passing team. Tall order, but there it is.

Or concede the first down one time. Have your D line purposely go offsides and blast all of their linemen on their ass to send a message.

This is actually a good idea. Since the play cannot be stopped why not make a fucking point!!!!!!!!

Hurts’ mobility and running threat is the problem. We’ve been letting QBs escape up the middle after setting and collapsing edges.
Correct. Containing Hurts and being consistent in run fits vs Saquon are the keys to this one. Rams need to ease up on all those stunts, try to put Hurts in as many third and longs as possible and keep his ass penned in that pocket.

The literally won a Lombardi with this gimmick.

The whole go low and take out the legs should be penalized. Same way the Broncos low blocked their way to Lombardis or the Billicheats found a loophole in the system.

Need two more owners to step the hell up next vote . The Lions and Saints screwed the pooch.

I would sweep the leg if you know what I mean.
Can't stand the fucking tush push, its such a lame ass play because everyone is literally attacking the knees of the D line, false starting while the other folks behind that are pushing the QB forward. There's even been times where they try to carry Hurts too. All this shit is illegal and shouldn't be part of the game.
