I had a bad experience with SNDL, too damn volatile for my liking. The other morning it was up 33% in the pre market and all the other pot stocks were down quite a bit. I tried selling off at the open, but the action was too choppy and it didn't have an ask price. By the time my action went through, I ended up with very little profit for the morning.BNTC moving up
SOS Big dip but I am in healthy green on this overall
SNDL WOW, my 17 year old kept sending me screenshots of this through the day
JMIA on it's usual big morning pushes the falls back. I am really considering dumping this one too.
@Dog whats your take on SOS? I am considering dumping tomorrow
For crypto folks check out SXP.
Seems like a good thing for those with patience. The SPACs take time to IPO, find the right partner, get regulatory approvals, etc.
Remember Draft Kings was a SPAC last year.
Tortiose Aquisition Corp is a decent one. Ticker symbol SNPR and they do domething with the EV sector.
Tilman Fertitta is taking his business with Landrys and Golden Nugget into a spac called FST i believe.
Announced just last week. That dude from Virgin Atlantic started a SPAC. Richard Branson. Its gonna be domething about family and medical. I didnt really focus on it.
others PIPP, SRAC, APXT. One thats way farther along is CCIV
Any premium rooms you follow on stockwits?I had a bad experience with SNDL, too damn volatile for my liking. I get tempted some days, but it's too hard to dump, when the sell off starts. Anything that WSB pumps and dumps is too risky for me.
I have made a shit ton on the other pot stocks though, TLRY, GRWG, APHA and MJ.
Good luck on your stonks.
No.Is that SXP.CA?
I checked it on Stocktwits and there are only 72 people watching it.
I check in on crypto from time to time because my son is interested, but I have never purchased before.
Any premium rooms you follow on stockwits?
No.
SXP is the crypto used on the Swipe network.
Crypto debit cards, di-fi etc.
The play on SNDL was way over extended. It was Zack Morris and his twitter followers that jacked the thing. Maybe Reddit piled in later, i wasnt following. I told a buddy to sell above 3 and his reply was “No way, diamond hands” so.....hes gonna diamond his way back down to a dollar I guess.
The momo plays are fun, but theres huge risk, because proper valuation always settles things. Theres no way SnDL is an 8 BILLION dollar company. View attachment 43867
BNTC filed form S3 for a mixed Shelf offering of $75m
Normally that would be a bad thing. It means they can dilute at any time to raise capital.
But they also filed form S8 which details stock options for employess with strike points averaging $47 a share.
Some are saying we should expect a huge pump and big news in conjunction with these filings. The employees can then excercise their options, and then the company will dilute at a higher price. Then there are others who think the S3 indicates a bad thing and one guy in particular dumped about 350,000 shares Friday- which influenced the drop in price.
Im only holding 500 shares now. Not enough to lose my ass, but definately enough to piss me off if I’ve guessed wrong.
Dice roll here. 300% to 400% upside vs possible 60% downside.
I am holding onto 200 that I bought in at 99.5 so no real risk. If it takes off I may jump back in after early morning rush and Dump.I got into SNDL one day and sold most of what I had at the end of the day. The next day premarket it was up 33% and I tried to sell at the open. Lost most of the 33%, but came out pretty well overall.
Yeah, me to. As soon as I sell, it takes off.I am holding onto 200 that I bought in at 99.5 so no real risk. If it takes off I may jump back in after early morning rush and Dump.
I have great buy in timimg and not so good selling timing LOL
I hate watching stocks after hours and not being able to do jack shit.@Gandalf i get your point, pre market sucks when your stock runs and you cant get to it in time. I have premarket trading but Fidelity starts at 7. Often times even that is too late when webull and Interactive Brokers start at 4
Anybody would love to take a 33% day trade.
