Lucky for me (for this week at least) this game is on Fox...The Uber site that somebody dropped on us a couple of days ago seems to have been waxed already...Maybe some other problem, but I couldn't get the GB game on today...My daughter couldn't get it on her phone either..I'm bummed...

Yeah I couldn't get that to work for the Green Bay v Steelers game....it was fun while it lasted I guess.

You mean the bubble screen? That's not really a route. He just lined up there, turned, caught the ball, and ran. I'm talking specifically about routes where he has to run down the field before catching the ball. Later in the game Holt and Faulk showed/talked about how Tavon wasn't running good routes. I saw a VERY short clip from one of the practices in Oxnard that showed Tavon running a pretty solid route and others said he was doing better in those practices. I want to see that.

I wouldn't get too worked up for seeing anything much tonight. It's been a hard week and Fish doesn't seem to care about game two.

I'm hoping for a TD or two from Foles though, but if not, I'm not going to get concerned.

I'm thinking Fisher and the Rams need to step it up a bit in preseason. They have been a flat team early in the regular season. I would like to see Foles and the young offensive line play the entire first quarter. A Foles TD would be great and establishing the run may be better.

Expecting the offense to get left out there a lot longer tonight working on execution. I'm thinking Foles will probably get the whole first quarter and maybe into the 2nd quarter to put together sustained drives.

Also expecting some serious improvement out of Washington. I'm sure he was coached up all week and the extra reps certainly wont hurt.
 
I'm hoping the Rams starters on D will be stout against a new guy like Mariota...I think that's kind of important in this game...I don't have much confidence that we'll see much from the offense, they just don't inspire confidence in me...
 
Just stay grounded with the results of tonight's game, good or bad. Game 2 of the preseason with a new OC, a new QB, rookie OL probably isn't going to get any of us too excited. Besides, thinking Fisher knows he doesn't need to give up much of his new O to the league quite yet. He'll need a little element of surprise to win early in the season and lord knows we need to win early this year. Now I'd expect the D to strut its stuff in the 1st half anyways.

17, 17, 23, 24, 18, 13, 12, 17, 17, 14, 12 and 11. What are those numbers you ask? Those are the total of penalties in each game so far this weekend! The winner with the fewest was the Vikings having 1 penalty.

looking forward to seeing some RAMS football for the first time since December


also looking forward to Marcus Marriota getting his "welcome to the NFL" by the RAMS D line, Tree

This makes me so sad. I was so excited when that gem was revealed to each and everyone one of us. I knew that was going to happen when I realized it was from reddit, but I had an inkling of hope.

Here's to kicking my wife off the tv to watch the Rams in 20 minutes. I bet she'll have her fingers crossed that I don't last the whole game. I have game pass, so I may be nice and reserve watching the entire game for another time.
