I guess that I shouldn't be surprised that all the internet doctors would come out of the woodwork and blame Stafford's elbow if he had a bad game. Its complete nonsense, of course, but inevitable that people would choose to say that.

He threw a couple deep but he seemed more gun shy than normal. Probably had to do with the OL not giving him time but he was missing open receivers all night. He needs to knock off the rust and McVay also needs to help him out with with better play calls. IMO tonights biggest joke was their big new offensive weapon Robinsom basically getting no targets at all. It felt like the SB when odell went down and Kupp was a 1 man offense.

He did not throw a deep pass all night. His elbow is definitely a problem.
First-off, that's just conjecture on your part.

Buffalo rushed four, without blitzing most of the game; and had seven in coverage, with two top veteran safeties (Poyer and Hyde) playing a deep-shell. Stafford was pressured on most drop-backs; and was hit a lot. Both McVay and Stafford confirmed and emphasized these exact points in their post-game press conferences.

That combination of pressure; and type of coverage makes is almost impossible to throw deep.

Not if you choose to not care about it. ;)
Unfortunately, its not that easy. Most of us enjoy watching, listening to, and/or reading sports content. Elbowgate has become an unavoidable distraction throughout those sources.

His throws did look off to me tonight. However, it did not look to me to be due to an elbow injury, but rather, the by-product of being pressured and pulverized all night. Time will tell. Something to keep an eye on.
