Cousins in his prime at his best was nowhere near the QB Stafford has been his entire career. Luckily we dont have to worry about this hypothetical situation. I would be willing to bet this isnt the 1st time Staffords back has bothered him and he has played through this same issue in 1 or more seasons previously. I would like to believe that if I can find a way to manage my herniated discs, that Stafford has figured out how to best manage his.

Stafford questions are HC questions, Aubrey Pleasant was the HC for gameday operations only. I bet Stafford and McVay are laughing their asses off seeing all the panic this has created.

You'd think Pleasant could've said Stafford did workout and that's all he knew.
 
We’ve got Matt “the Assassin “Stafford. Arguably the best quarterback, the Rams have ever had. And we’ve got Sean “3-D Chess Champ “McVay. Definitely the best coach the Rams have ever had. I’m putting my trust that they’ll have this figured out for this year. Whether it’s this week 1 or week 4 or week 8 that’s what I’m gonna do.

Stafford is really good but he is not Kurt Warner good IMO. Stafford is also at the end of his career and injuries are taking their toll. He is no longer the gunslinger he was with Detroit and he relies on guts and veteran savvy. I hope he can give us one more year, but he has taken a lot of hits over the years.

Look I love Warner, but Stafford was/is better.....
