Time to play Harris. He has the speed and size to threaten a secondary. Time to rotate Robinson and Harris.

Until the offense can beat the blitz there is nothing to stop them from using it. But more importantly, the OL must prove it can stop the 4 guys normally coming. Replacing Evans with Jackson will go a long way in that regard.

If the Rams can't beat a down trodden Cardinal team things are going to unravel. McVay needs to find a way to fix the OL. It doesn't have to be a top unit. It simply needs to quit giving away easy sacks. Stafford has no trust in this OL any more than Goff trusted the 2019 version of the OL. The biggest hole is Evans. The easiest way is to replace him with Jackson. and let Nsekhe play LT. That will allow Allen to focus on helping Aboushi.
I really want to see if McCutcheon can do anything

Anybody cap savvy? If we need to move on from him after this terrible season what are the cap problems? Can we release him? Of course maybe he can rebound after this season and a reworking of the O line, but he looks just bad at this point.

Didn't expect Stafford to perform up to his talents with the oline but I will admit I expected better than this.

I am not a huge Stafford guy but he ain't the issue.

He probably should be playing better though. He is being paid like a QB that can carry a team which he isn't.
Another overpay by the FO.

but he did basically carry the team last year on offense to a super bowl victory.

we had like the 25th ranked run offense - it was pretty much all on stafford and the passing game to score points.

They're gonna get Stafford killed out there. Sunday a bloody hand, and he's lucky big 50 didn't break anything.

And he led a most fucking epic game-winning drive in the Super Bowl, so there's that too.

Is Stafford playing poorly? Yes he is. Can he do better? Yes he can. Will he do better? I don't know.

What I do know is if they dumped Stafford they have no chance to win a championship the next few years. Because those guys don't grow on trees.

Dump him and the odds are the best they can do would be QB's like Darnold, Garappolo, Goff, Wentz, Mayfield, etc. You aren't winning a championship with those kind of quarterbacks. You can with Stafford if you give him something to work with.

Stafford is done in my opinion. Old. Body is worn. Can play it out for 2, 3, 4 years? He's done

This Bettis guy, lets move him...
Jamie Duncan can easily fill in for London Fletcher...
The Bettis one was on stupid ass Rich Brooks.
He had a hard on for Lawrence Phillips and wanted him as his RB.
He told Bettis he wanted to move him to FB....the Bus, rightly so, told him he wasn't interested in that.

Stafford was bad yesterday... but when you have a 400lb dude humping you every other play your poise is going to take a hit.
Man, Vito is a stud.
Just a monster.
For all of his bad plays I was surprised to see Evans handle him in pass pro one on one a couple of times.

Past Rams management.....

"What would it take to move on from Warner?"
"What could we get in a trade for Dickerson?"
"Its time to let Bruce go."
"Chris Long is washed up."
"Kevin Greene doest fit a 4/3."

The list is seemingly endless.
You don't dump your best players at the fist sign of trouble.

Yes, and we're not even close to the end of the season. The whiners were 3-5 and we had to play them in the NFCCG. The NFC East might have 3 playoff teams but after that, the pickings are thin. The Rams can still make a run if we can start scoring more than 15.2 points per game.

I know we have injuries, but having the same points per game on offense as a Jeff Fisher team isn't going to get us there.

If we can get Evans out of the line-up and replaced with someone who can get a 50 on pass blocking score on PFF, we will score 20 points a game guaranteed. I would bet a lot of money on that.
