Remember when our shit o line got our qb's thumb injured and we dumped him, only to have him take the fricken Cards to a Super bowl?
History repeating?
The beginning of this sounded like like Goff ironically. Didn't he have a thumb injury before we dumped him? This isn't a Stafford vs Goff comment either. Just weird how Rams QBs keep hurting their thumbs.

…….And getting pressured and sacked too much for my liking.

There is a simple solution to all of this, just focus on running the ball more. The OL seems to be better at run blocking so why not play to their strength. Whatever, you do don't ever question the play caller out or you will get crucified on this board. I'm going to call it like I see it and if you don't like it too bad.

Nailed it.. they played smash mouth in the 2nd half of the cards game and the team rallied.. keep that shit up.

Could you imagine watching 10+ years of this monster? Whats the probability of us getting Pick 1 with a 3-14 record?

Mahomes threw 2 interceptions and no touchdowns today and lost to the Broncos!
Stafford will have bad games, but I think he's still the best option for us at this time.
Yea right now he is. But he could decide to retire this winter or next.

I wonder which one McVay would choose. I think he would lean towards Mayes.

With a 3-14 record they could possibly trade up to 1 or 2

You got crucified? C'mon man. That's some teenage girl drama right there.

Everyone has their moments of these bastids lighting them up. You'll survive and maybe be better for it.

McVay to Stafford. "Where do you want to throw it?"
Stafford to McVay. "The other team."
McVay to media. "Stafford is a stud".

It's a bit early to call Mcvay overrated. None of us are happy with the last game but you have to keep things in perspective. Mcvay (and Snead) took a pitiful offense and made it "1" in a single year. And it continued like that for 5 straight years, two super bowls, and a Lombardi! I understand the strategy of "run it back" too, but injuries killed the team last year. I didn't think they had a chance anyway, losing so many all stars off that super bowl roster, but the strategy this year was to reduce the cap and that's what we're seeing now.

With the roster purged, Mcvay has to work with what he has and it ain't much. The line is inconsistent, the backs have had issues, and Kupp missed a lot of time and it shows. Still... the Rams offense has played well at times. Aside from this game, the Rams could have easily been 4-3 or even 5-2 if they got lucky.

I get what you're saying, and many of us have complained about the play calling at times, but look at the roster this year and remember the strategy going forward. The bottom line is that it's way too early to call McVay overrated. JMO.
If he has 2 losing seasons in a row its fair to call him overrated.
