Whatever she's a damn drama queen. He's been playing for 10+ years. She knows the risk associated with the rewards. Gimmie a break. Tell her to get a damn job. She seems bored

If she is a drama queen or not... everything she says is valid.

Go listen to it.

It kind made me change my perspective on his injury.

So it’s evident neither Perkins or Wolford are adequate backup QBs. It’s also apparent the Rams will not make the playoffs this year. It’s not the record as much as how bad they look on offense. So it makes sense to rest key players like Stafford, Kupp, Donald, Higbee and start planning for next year now. See what they have in Williams, Durant, Rochelle, Kendrick, McCuthceon, Atwell, Skow, etc. and for the love of god figure out what needs to be done to drastically improve the OL. That includes the fact that while Injuries are hard to plan for they seem to happen to certain players too frequently to count on them for anywhere near a full season (e.g. Allen, Akers, Higbee, Note).

Personally, I think Stafford and Kupp should be shut down the rest of the season. Alternate Wolford and Perkins the next couple games and see if either of them really has a future in this game. We'll probably not win more than one or two the rest of the way. But it could be a way of thanking Detroit for Stafford by giving them another top 3 pick.

I don’t see any indication in the first 8 games that Stafford was showing signs of repetitive head traumas. I see no reason for him not to be playing if he is cleared medically.

The OL is probably going to be a little better, how could it be worse, the second half.

You’re not going to be able to evaluate other offensive player with Wolford and Perkins running the offense.

Of course his wife is concerned, it’s her prerogative. But, is she ready to quit cashing the checks, is she ready to give up the lifestyle she’s enjoyed by being married to an nfl QB?

Let’s spend more time running the team and less time selling crappy pizzas.

The pizza deal means they don't really have to work anymore. They have more money than you or I will ever see. It's about health and concussions and the effects are serious as hell. Plus do you really want him to get smashed into oblivion? If coach or the ol showed they could protect him then yeah if cleared he could play but that's not happening this year. Go rams.

As I said I saw no accumulation of head shoots on Stafford this year and no indication in his interviews that he wasn’t all there. I also don’t see McVay confirming the concussion, he doesn’t have that information?? Yeah, bullshit.

I want to see him and the other players do their freaking job that they are taking in hundreds of thousands or multi- millions to do. I want to see him continue to be the leader we have seen.

What I don’t want to see is the organization bailing on a season half way through the year.

Your right about them getting more money for the pizza deal than I’ll ever see and that makes my entertainment dollars important to me. Fans deserve a better product than we have seen this year. And, what they did last year was last year, I don’t buy in to the “it was worth it so having a bad year isn’t that bad”. I expect them to put a competitive team on the field every year, they still have time to salvage some semblance of respectability.

Stafford himself went to the doctors because he thought something was wrong.

I catch her podcast from time to time just for insights with Matthew (he's been on a few times, too) and they've definitely had the conversation about Stafford hanging it up early if head injuries become a thing for him. They have four daughters together and Kelly has overcome a brain tumor herself. I completely understand where she's coming from.

Dude gave us a Superbowl, if he needs to take the rest of this lost season off just to get fully healthy I'm all for it.

Yeah I read that. Do you really think McVay hasn’t been given all of the details of this situation? I’m not buying it.

I think its a new protocol - I don't think McVay is allowed to say anything.

Stafford himself has not said anything to the media either.

Not to mention that surviving brain cancer after 12 hours of surgery three years ago might change anyone's perspective on brain injuries.

One of the most underrated movies of all time and the only movie Henry Fonda directed.
I’m pretty sure Sidney Lumet was in the chair but yeah, brilliant film. Fonda was co producer.

Sorry all for the Thread hijack. Carry on.
