I love Mcvay.

He’s like a ball of positivity, PC, humor and passionate communicator all in one.

Even with his whole Tutu over Humphrey, you can’t help but to love the guy.

I still don't like his height for the position. But as a backup I am fine with it. Everything else I love the player.
And if he starts and balls out, who gives a fuck about his height.. and wasn't the #1 overall pick!

Crazy that our greatest coach ever was a 31 year old when hired isn't it.

I will say it again we can only dream but Stetson reminds me of Brees. Chip swag poise and of course stature

We finally nailed a head coach pick in my lifetime. Going against the grain with the young guy and rolling dice.

Makes up for all the Spags/Linehan/Brooks duds we had to suffer through.

That’s totally over now. Tutu & Avila might end up the better of whoever KC just picked up in the 2nd rd. Rashee Rice & Creed.

.

I like this Stetson Bennett guy. That was a very insightful interview.

Same with Avila.

Similar but yes shorter by an inch the weight would concern me more 25lbs difference but still see similarities but obviously need to see them translate to on the field
Yeah Brees was considered short, and the anomaly. And Stets is even shorted and way lighter. alas, that's why he was drafted in the 4th round. If he was 6'4 he'd have been a top 5 pick

That's what I've been saying.. of he was 2 inches taller, 15lbs heavier and 2 years younger, he'd be a first rounder. But, he's not. And I'm DAMN glad we got him in the 4th. Dude COULD be a steal.

Bennett is taller than Flutie and I watched Flutie and he could play, so this height stuff is a factor but doesn't automatically mean he can't play in the NFL. Bryce Young is shorter as well. It's a matter of how long it will take for him to acclimate to the NFL and digest the playbook. Rypien is obviously going to be the 3rd QB this season. Who is #2 will be dependent upon how far Stetson has come by September. They have Stetson for 4 years so if they lose a year so be it. I'm not concerned at this point.

The way I see it Stetson is likely to be #3 this year and again next year after the Rams draft their next franchise QB. So he really won't be expected to play until 2025 anyway unless he really takes a huge jump in TC which could happen.

i have to agree with texram...

and i'll hold all the we're gonna suk this year posers, err posters, to the fire when we don't...

this guy(mcvay) took over a shit-fu*k rams team and if not for the loser, ogletree's (gone that offseason) chickenshit non tackle, who will ever know how far we would have gone?... AND THAT WAS HIS FIRST YEAR!!!

I'm gonna love being one of the "i told you sos" ... (actually i probably won't), but i will be chuckling at the monitor, reading all the, "man i had a feeling", about facers... welcome back rams fans :)... you never let me down... :) :)

but honestly, i think we're gonna be a surprise for those that talk all day, but never really follow the team (talking heads)...they got their hearts where it's always been, and mine is with the rams... sink or swim..

it's gonna be a good year...

go rams
