Belicheat is just like the cheating college coaches... they don't want to know how it's done (illegal recruiting/taping signals)... they just want it to magically happen. They tell their underlings to make it happen... they don't care how... just make it happen... and don't tell them anything about how they made it happen.

Well it's still early but it looks like the reporter, Dianna Russini, started the whole thing by the way she phrased the question.

This was cleared by the Browns. And the pressbox isn't a very good place to hide LOL.

There is no story here.

Probably not.

But there are two things that have to get past the smell test:

1) Reportedly there was footage of the Bengal sideline shot during the game--that's a no-no.
2) Does Belichik really have as much control of the Pats operation as many think? And if he does, how would he not know about anything that's football related?

I think you have to have a plausible lie to account for knowing what the play will be. That being said, dont defensive play calls get radioed in. What hand signals are we talking about.

In '13 the Rams game @SF...the Rams had seen a tell and were up front about it after the game, saying they knew what was a run and what was a pass. Issue for me at least is how do you come by the information?

I think it's allowed but only in certain places, and not field level. I may be wrong but I thought that was part of Spygate.

Defenses didn't get radios in the helmets until the 2009 season. That's why the Patriots were taping signals many years ago.

So being cleared by the Browns gives you clearance to videotape the Bengals? Interesting, very interesting. Sorry but this team has been busted for illegally taping teams in the past so there’s no benefit of the doubt for them.

“let’s delete this footage and pretend it never happened” screams “I’m guilty, let’s just bury this so the NFL can not get another black mark”

The fact that the Bengals sent a tape to the league says they saw something wrong with the footage. The fact they sent a copy and kept the original not only confirms this but also shows they dont trust what Goodell may do with it.

Soooo, other than peoples conspiracy theories, ridiculous opinions, and downright rude statements, is there any actual NEWS on this matter?

Yep, the Patriots filmed the Bengals sideline and focused on coach's substitutes and signals. Totally against the rules to film an opposing sideline from the press box. They were cheating.

No hand signals were being taped that I hard of........
Then what is worth taping. Dont get me wrong, I'm sure the Patriots are cheating some how. It is who they are. Just wondering what they could be taping that is a benefit to them. Maybe it's a distraction from something else.

lol @ this thread. Guys give it a rest. Your opinions are like assholes....

Well you know the saying. "Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one and they all stink".

Or was it "every asshole has an opinion".

Or "your an asshole for having an opinion".

I'm confused.
