Well, I don't hope for opposition to be injured but if Lamar ends up being out that'll help this dilemma a lot. All though still have to stop Henry from running crazy. And considering how small we are past our front 7 we're going to need a very good contain game this week. I don't want to see Forbes get split in half by Henry running full steam at him.

Will it though? We lost to back ups, 3rd stringers and 4th stringers. We got pushed around like they were a High school team. Hell ive seen some high school teams play better than Thursday.

I fucking detest this secondary. Absolutely cannot stand their inability to cover shit. It's a problem and in this league when you have that particular problem there's no such thing as an easy game because you never know if they're going to show up.

Considering what happened in Detroit maybe Aubrey Pleasant is the problem.

Shaun Dolac is that much closer to getting his chance & Troy Reeder for a game or to show up better than Speights.

Given McVay's love of him I am sure he's a good coach. But they're not working with great corner pieces, so an infusion of talent is required or maybe bring in an additional coach to try to get a little more out of what they have.

Aubrey is a safety by position he played. Our sole secondary positional coach is listed as the safeties coach. Maybe there's a bit too much on Aubrey's plate to cover the corners.

Yeah, McVay said Avila would have the opportunity to start again when he showed he was practicing up to snuff. They were in no rush to bring him back, which is good. Hopefully, his level of play improves.

Reeder is going to get snaps....likely more than Dolac given his experience and trust level the coaches have with him.
However, with Landman playing, my hope is Reeder is back up for the green dot and Dolac gets the majority of snaps.

Omar Speights has not graded out well this year. I get that Landman has taken some of his spotlight.

I agree with you all, I’d rather have Dolac out there, we know what we have in Reeder.

Yeah but Shanahan saw Reeder was in the game and drew that play up specifically because Reeder was in the game.
