Per NFL opening drive this morning.
Jeff McLane an Eagles beat writer for the Philadelphia Inquirer says that Kevin Demoff has spoken with the Philadelphia Eagles general manager Howard Roseman in regards to the Rams pick. The quarterback that Philadelphia will take is Wentz and he is 100% certain the Rams are taking Goff. Tony Grossi ESPN Cleveland says the Browns moved down because Goff was thier pick and the Rams are going Goff.

Thanks for posting! Looks like the Browns lose again.

Tweaked it, because nothing is widely known right now -- in spite of the degree of conviction with which it's being reported from the sports media experts.

Again, take everything you hear with a grain of salt. For all we know, the Eagles could be targeting Tunsil out of Ole Miss. Their O-line sucked last year, and he's sure to be gone by the 8th spot, where they traded up from.

Maybe they DO take the other QB at 2 -- then again, maybe they don't.

A left tackle for all those picks? Doesn't really sound remotely plausible, but maybe you're right

No doubt.

Let's be clear. It's GOING to be Goff.

I just wonder how long before this causes an issue.

So now that the Eagles are at #2, bluff the crap out of them that we want their guy, if we know that info. Then we get a draft pick or player from them.

It makes no sense to tell the Eagles who we will pick. No competitive sense. Just my two pennies.

You mean we would move down to two to get our guy based on the Eagles promising not to draft him?

OMG I just need this to be over already. There's still a week to go, and I've already changed my mind 5-6 times. AND YOU GUYS ARE NOT FUKIN HELPING... I read Jerry, and fall in love with Goff. I read Mack, and have visions of Wentz in Blue and Gold. I read X, look at his avatar, and wash down a number with another white Russian...I'm losin my mind, not getting crap done at work, ignoring my wife...please, God, just let this be over...and don't let them freak it up...

And just think: who they draft determines the next decade (at least) of Rams football.

How is Goff "plug and Play" if he hasn't played under center? The only thing that I prefer about Goff is that he is younger and should be around for a long time. Although much of it will be learning the pro game.

i think senoir bowl = pro bowl, no body wants to get hurt, cost them millions
so it means almost nothing

He has played under center some, less than Wentz, but some and he's been focusing on that too....Only true Freshman Quarterback to start at California in the history of the program and this program has produced some good ones....He's worth the same from the neck up as from the neck down and will be ready come September!

From what standpoint ?? That to me is a crazy azz statement . I'd say the drafting of Aaron Donald is a perfect example of the meaning of the 2. The last years he has lathered himself in sunscreen. The senior bowl was lathered in sweat.
--The big mistake Snead made was drafting of Ishiah Pead who was mvp. He showed an all purpose skill. The thing that sucks is college kids from like Standford & Cinncy get a late start, because of NFL dumb azz rules. The NFL already limits practice time.
I like the center from Michagan as a late round draft choice. He can play guard as well.Held his own against a solid defensive class.

It's quite possibly the most important part of the draft evaluation for those lucky enough to be invited. You get coached by NFL coaches all week and play against and with nothing but guys who will likely play on Sunday's. It's taken very very seriously by the players, scouts, and coaches.

There is a lot to lose - but also a lot to gain for most guys. Only guys who are top half of the first round locks would pass on it.
