You guys pissed me off. I really wanted Vaughn.

Packers pissed me off worse. I really fucking wanted Tucker Kraft. No offense meant to Byron Young or Davis Allen.

Which, outside of the 1st round pick, is what the Cowboys just did, or so it feels.
The Rams did that for a few years. They traded back and drafted developmental special teamers mostly. It’s not like they didn’t have done weaknesses that could have been upgraded.

Higbee is still head and shoulders above any ROOKIE TE not named Kincaid, and Hopkins (and even Long) have more talent than Davis Allen. TE is NOT an immediate need unlike so many other positions on this current roster.

Higbee is in the last year of his contract, as is Hopkins. I mean absolutely no offense to Byron Young and Davis Allen, but Kraft was my prospect crush for a reason.

The Rams currently *could* move on from Higbee. Just saying they have bodies to survive.. possibly with upside. Long's been around long enough to understand the league and should be able to perform at a league-average level... and Hopkins has shown flashes as a target and Davis has the requisite tools to be on a roster.

Not saying they will.. but they could.

Yeah and those bastids took two TEs. Like I said before the draft it's always Green Bay prioritizing those big TEs who can boost the pass game. Pisses me off.

Packers finally got some help for the passing game. 2 TEs and 3 WRs. The obvious question is why didn't they do this when they still had a HOF QB?

If they had gone all in as the Rams did to win a Super Bowl they would have had a real shot. Instead, it's welcome to the Jordan Love era.

The Jordan Love era is going to be very entertaining. Can't wait. :laugh3:

But you know what... Those bastards are probably tanking for the QB. It would be so Green Bay to fuck the season up right and get the top pick then have another 20 years of top QB play.

Geez dudes for years people whined that the Rams needed to pick an OL player early. Now they finally did and people say why? Give me a freaking break. Avila, Maginn, and McAllister give the entire OL a different look. Maginn started 45 of his 47 games at LG. So I expect him to be in the mix next year when Avila moves to center to start at LG. This will give the Rams some real bruisers inside in the run game. So if Bruss can become the guy they expected when the Rams drafted him, this OL will be very good inside. With Noteboom and Jackson at OTs the 2024 starting OL looks very solid. The kind you would expect a Super Bowl contender to have.

With Akers, Williams and Evans running behind it Stafford will have the tools to make a legit run at another Lombardi in his final year. Snead and McVay have reloaded this team. They will be better than most realize.

I just hope Brock Purdy doesn't play next season. Put in Trey Lance and watch him lead the whiners to a 3-5 record. Then rat girl can trade Lance away for a 7th round pick and suck up his pride. Then the Rams go all in in 2024 and shut the whiner's window for competing for a SB title.

I would too. Roseman has been GM since 2010. He got to the Super Boel in 2018 and won. Many feel that was mostly the coaching and play calling considering how those two QBs turned out. Then he went to the Super Bowl in 2022. That’s two in 12 years.

Snead and McVay have been to two in five years.

Roseman has been looking pretty good the last few years though. So did Schneider when building the LoB team then he had a long dry spell, until 2022. One of the strengths of Roseman though is how he’s handled the cap while still fielding a very good team.

I'd say the receiver of this draft has a pretty good argument

You have to go with the eagles. Super Bowl runner up and still added all that talent. They are going to be a monster this year

NFC West Draft Grades

.

Seattle's draft was so good it hurts to look at it. Just thankful they didn't take a shot at a QB.

I can't understand how sports heads can grade drafts before any of these players have taken a snap in the NFL. Considering how many top picks fail in the NFL.

Carry on
