It is also critical they sort this secondary. Last year was not great for that unit. Guys were running open but Von's addition masked a lot of poor coverage.

They need to get Fuller and Scott locked in and playing the call tighter at safety first off. Scott has nice range and receivers don't want all that. They feel him.

And they badly need better slot play. Which should be a given with Hill returning plus fresh blood via the draft. But that other spot outside was hit and miss too.

The drawback to losing Von is these guys have to improve. Otherwise the defense is gonna struggle.

The FO knows how to handle the cap and players want to play for this team/coach. As long as the Rams can find good players in the late draft rounds it all depends on how long Stafford stays healthy.

The way I see it, the Superbowl window is open for at least two years. The solid playoff contender for another 5 years. After that its anyone's guess. But knowing Snead when Stafford hangs it up he'll be looking to trade for another top tier quarterback. I'm just enjoying it now while I can. No one can keep it up forever.
