I was thinking more recent times but yeah I loved Randall too and Mike Quick. Current Eagles fans make me forget about all that. I was thinking more like Mac and Jalen Hurts those true backup QB types.

I just remember him being their 3rd down QB because he could scramble back when that wasn't much of a thing. He made a couple of big 3rd downs with his legs, and they left him in. I really think that game launched him
But yeah, you are right, we have plenty of recent examples

When you come scoring out the gates like the Rams have, expect the 2nd half to be dull… But hope they continue to dominate.

At this point though, McVay needs to run the ball. Pretty wild to be up 31-7 and still be slinging the ball recklessly. We've only run it 8 times.

Everything is underneath trying to get rid of the ball quicker. Defense just needs to play of tighter and they'll force punts the rest of the way.
