I like Perkins, but I hate his arm. He floats passes ten yards down the field. Doesn't go through reads and doesn't' really have any business playing in the NFL IMO. However, I do think he's a better option than Wolford. With that said. If the Rams want to win any games this season with him @ QB they need to change up their game planning completely.
I want to emphasize my belief that he should be a running back / receiver out of the backfield.

I think some screen passes to him would be fun to watch.

I like the idea, Hill in NO comes to mind.

12. Skura sucks.
Agreed, but he's still a better option then Evans. I guess one can hope Allen comes back moving Shelton back to LG or better yet, if Allen comes back, Shelton replaces Skura at LG & Zach Thomas replaces Aboushi at RG. I would like to see this line for the rest of the year moving forward.

LT...Arcuri (I think he just battles)
LG...Shelton
C...Allen, come on we only have 6 games left.
RG...Zach Thomas...He's young and let's see what he has.
RT...Rob Havenstein...Just keep staying healthy Big Rob.

Others beside Durant/RR missing (also known as the 2022 Tutu treatment): Yeast & Lake…finally saw some BB3 a bit late.
This quote is a great one to read from the perspective of a person who knows nothing about the Rams.

:D

Not talking down your post Ram Ts. Just poking fun at it would make no sense to a lot of people out there.

I really think he could become an offensive weapon. Use him as a RB with a pass option. The dude is straight up fast, and he's big enough to take some hits.
Hand off to Perkins, then fake a pass to the left, Perkins runs right, and can run or throw.

Hopefully Kroenke has a group insurance rate for Bionics installation with so many of our guys down at the same time.

It's definitely too much for the quality of play between Wolford and Perkins.
There also are not a lot of good back-ups.

I agree with you that it would be nice to have a solid veteran back-up-QB. Last week, I proposed Sam Darnold and tried to make a case as to why he might want to come to the Rams on a one-year-deal, and not be too concerned about salary (for one year).

It's just tough to find a good, affordable back-up.

If and when Nsekhe is healthy then he’s my starter at LOT.

Also, I’m a little queasy about starting Thomas over Aboushi. Unless you’re selling out to simply see what the youngsters can do?

For what it’s worth, apparently he has a back injury that was restricting him throughout the game. In any case he doesn’t seem to be healthy enough often enough to help us.

Ok, if Lewis had a back injury, that would help explain his awful play. He just gave up on a few plays. He probably tried to push through but couldn't be effective

XXXIV:

I’d like to weigh in on #14 because I too think it’s telling.
Rochell had his tough moments last season. I was not in the corner that automatically had him moving into a starting job this year, but Kendrick has had plenty of “teachable moments” himself.
I’m still not getting why Durant isn’t on the field more either. He was looking both raw but promising in his debut earlier this season. Yeast has looked good enough to warrant more PT also.

Near as I can figure, neither Long nor Rapp will be returning next year and the Rams have decided it’s better not to bench future FAs, thus lowering their value.

The secondary has been a revolving door, stocked with good pickups late in the draft/UDFAs, but they need time to develop and REAL game reps. They can’t all be JJ3 and walk in “getting it.” Now is the time to get these guys on the field. Real game experience and coaching is what they need. Practicing against backups and roster fill won’t help nearly as much. We don’t even have top end WRs for them to guard in practice!

The worst dogging it I saw was Kendricks on Kelce's TD.
He came up and just sort of threw a shoulder at him at about the 3 yard line. He could have attempted a tackle, go low, he probably still scores, but, maybe not. Inexcusable lack of effort.
Skura may suck but he is a mile better than the likes of Evans or Kolone.
He has given up very ugly sacks (one per game) the last two weeks, but, overall is ok in pass pro and gets movement in the run game.
I would actually resign him for vet depth over the UDFA we keep loading our depth with.....and lot of rough, very few diamonds.
