Gonna shock everyone here, given my notorious Tutu hating... Tez Johnson is going to be a player in the NFL. He can overcome his size vs press coverage.

Bech giving major Kupp vibes thus far. I don't think he's quite in his class, but the Rams certainly have their eyes on him.

I need to watch his Senior Bowl film. He's a guy I homed in on because he's such a strong fit for what we look for in a WR.

Should note that I don't think Bech has Kupp's quickness, so he won't separate as naturally. But he's big and super physical. Anquan Boldin made a nice living overpowering DBs.

In your mock, you have Bech in round 5. The consensus mock draft site has him as the 128th ranked player.

The way he's being talked about, it sounds more like 2nd or 3rd round. What say you?

I say that I have no idea where he'll be drafted. It's early in the process. But I don't expect him to put up great workout numbers, so I don't see him going in the 2nd round.

He also a knee injury in college He missed 2023 with it and ends the season so raining it. That could keep him from going as early as 128th

I think if the Rams draft a move TE type early that they may take Bech's teammate later. His name is Savion Williams. He's 6'-5". He's a very good athlete and has a 40" vertical. He can separate and he can run the ball. They were trying to get that type of player last winter. Williams is a lesser version of Mike Evans and Courtland Sutton, but the tools are real. I guess it depends on if they think he can continue to develop them. They sign 6'7" Colby Parkinson also. It sounds like for McVay, size matters. :zany1:

Appreciate you posting the videos! Although, one of these is from 2021 lol.

I'm definitely being converted into a true believer on Fannin. Although, I will offer a slight nitpick here. After he stacked the DB, he cheated a bit on his route, which made it easier for the DB to sniff out the fake and get close enough to contest the pass. Watch the stem. Stellar athlete, though. And I love his physicality after the catch.

My thoughts on this week's practices...

:helmet: QB Jaxson Dart is QB3 and it wasn't close. He still may end up being a backup at this level, but then again the only QB who I think has a good shot to be a starter in this draft is the Miami kid. After him it's rainbows and dick flavored lollipops. Ugly group.

:helmet: Edge Mike Green made himself some money. Curious what he's going to run.

:helmet: Edge Shemar Stewart is one big and rangy bastid. Gives me bad vibes though. Why wasn't he dominating with his talent.

:helmet: WR Tez Johnson... Ok look I know I hate small wideouts but I like Tez and I suspect he'll be a good starter at this level. I just don't want the Rams to draft him because we're 0-2 under Snead on these baby armed bastids.

:helmet: DL Darius Alexander opened a lot of eyes. Real nice looking DL.

:helmet: S Hunter Wohler is my kind of safety. He's got good size, he's smooth breaking in coverage, excellent eye on routes when they're in front of him, and arrives in the box real nice. Too bad the Rams probably won't be looking at this position.

:helmet: TEs. These boys overall showed well. Fannin they moved around a bit and I think it hurt him early on in making him think too much. Arroyo looks like a smooth and lethal pass threat machine. Mason Taylor was a big strong target. And so on. Honestly the QBs are going to need these guys in the game because I don't expect they'll have much time to throw.
