True, Stafford isn’t his best in cold rainy weather. How is Darnold? Will our DL get after him? We can apply plenty of pressure. I think we may have the advantage here. It’s super important in this game to limit turnovers. I hope we run the he11 out of ball. Play control ball. Don’t fumble. That will be the deciding factor. “Ground chuck” approach. That and short throws to our TEs. Wear them down and harass Darnold.
Good question, not sure how Darnold fairs in weather games. We actually haven't been applying much pressure in recent weeks. Think I recall the announcers mentioning we were bottom 10 in the last 4 games? Could have heard incorrectly.
Well...I think not. Recall the NFC playoff game in Philly. Stafford was 28-44 with 2 TDs. He doesn't "struggle" in weather...and that was with a weaker OLine IN THE SNOW!!!
Snow and rain and different beast IMO. While the ball can get wet in snow, its always wet in rain. Now, I agree our OLine is playing superior to that philly game, I'm just worried about the rain and wind. Why can't these f'ing bad weather teams build a dome?

Is anyone concerned about the comments Puka made about refs in the Aiden Ross livestream?

For context he basically said the refs weren't that good and just wanted to get on TV. I am sure there were worse comments made before about refs but the league is funny about this stuff. But at the very least it is not helpful.

I love Puka the football player but he does have some immaturity. Recording in the locker room did not go over very well and now this.

Maybe it is ultimately nothing but McVay had to deny him permission to take these streamers into the facility.

Big game this week and McVay is already distracted. He doesn't need this. Yes, Puka will show up to play...as always.

But it is not helpful. And the refs may not be so friendly.

Maybe I'm overreacting. But big game.
You're way over reacting

Line opened up Rams -1.5, now Seattle is -1.5, -2 in some places. People doubting us!!
All that means to me is the gamblers were taking the home dog in a game between two excellent teams. The line moved so they'd get more money on the Rams. I don't pay the line any business in games like this.

Just in case anyone forgot, the hawks have a real good defense.
The last Rams-hawks game, Davante was held to just 1 reception, for 1 yard, and one TD on 8 targets. Whatever focus/attention the hawks had on containing Davante, they can now focus on Puka. You all know if Puka has a non-productive game on Thursday what the spin and narrative is going to be = it's going to be about "the distractions" and off-field stuff. Don't buy that crap.

Also, recency bias tells us Blake Corum is good enough to be a no. 1 back. In the last game against the hawks, he had 8 carries for 10 yards and 1 reception on 2 targets for -5 yards. That's 5 yards on 10 "opportunities" - not no. 1 back production. Sure, he wasn't blocking for himself and he wasn't throwing himself the ball, but 5 flippin' yards just isn't cutting it (imo).

McVay can and will adjust the passing game. Corum needs to step up. Will it be enough? Stay tuned!

Have you ever seen two teams play each other the same way in the same season when they play twice? I haven't. I wouldn't put too much stock in stats.

Yes, the Shecocks have a good defense. But I'm doubting our offense is so out of sync this time.

Just like I wouldn't expect another 4 INT game, I'm expecting a completely different game in practically all aspects.

Stafford was way off in that game. Half those incompletions were just bad throws with no pressure.

Just like how it was with kurt, when Stafford is on, no defense is stopping the Rams offense.

Corum may have had 8 carries for 10 yards by Kyren had 12 carries for 91 yards.
