God damn, Coach took this loss hard apparently. I don't blame him, seemed like we had something special brewing.

Not saying fire him or any of that nonsense but his side of the ball really struggled this year a lot of the time. Or is saying they couldn't have performed better more accurate? He probably takes the performance of the offense very hard and these kind of guys are their own harshest critics.

He should. We all should. It was an exciting, fun and successful season BUT ...

If Limmer or Dotson just put their body in front of Carter on the 3rd-down-sack, they slow him for a second.

Tyler Higee was breaking wide-open over the middle, as the D-Back slipped. It was an easy-pitch and catch for a first down; and, probably a touchdown. Instead the two OL figured the "other guy" would take Jalen Carter, and the Eagles' best defensive player was unblocked.

For all the big plays ... for and against the Rams ... THAT play would have put the Rams ahead (assuming the XP). Now, Philadelphia would have still had a minute and three timeouts to get into game-winning-FG-range, so a victory was not certain.

All the Big Plays Aside ... THAT ONE was Fucking BRUTAL.
A home NFC Championship Game was right there.

I will say this it was a hard loss to take but our Rams fought hard to the bitter end in very brutal conditions in a hostile environment against a quality opponent and gave themselves a chance to win at the very end. They overcame a lot this season and I believed surpassed many of our expectations, the future looks promising.

The Offense wasn't great at the straight drop back game this season. Play action Stafford was really good, but just passing out of the Gun was average to below average. The O Line of course played a big part in that. Hope the Rams keep Jackson and make it a competition between he and Avila and Dotson.

This is why I'm projecting that they're gonna shake things up and make some rather big moves. I don't see them bringing the offense back in its current form.

I know McVay is taking this personally.

The offense lacks speed in the pass game. Kupp wasn't the same after that injury. We need to upgrade the Slot and X. McVay is gonna go after weapons for sure.

If McVay thought he needed more speed that Kupp and Nacua provided, he always had Tutu. Is this just what WE think and not him?

No I am afraid McVay knows damn well we need speed. Tutu doesn't translate because he can't play X, and the other spots he can't move the chains with his micro catch radius and contested drops. Rams missed on that pick just like Everett and Jefferson.

X is the best spot to add it via the draft, though Snead and McVay seem to struggle drafting it. But RB could help that equation as could TE. Fannin for example could attack the shit out of the middle in this scheme.

All that aside bigger targets with Stafford throwing to them are always open. So Higgins for example would help. He isn't a speed guy, but he is big as hell and 9 would hang it on him down that sideline.

Great finish after a rough start (2 years running). A hair short of upsetting Philly. Defense matured exponentially as the season played out. Entertaining.

A springboard to the inevitable changes and starting faster in 2025?

Tutu and Stafford have never had good chemistry. But you're right: there's no way to know for sure what McVay is thinking.

Matt stafford still with the nutsack of the gods.

If Limmer doesn't blow his blocking assignment - this is an all-time stafford moment.
I haven’t seen. Was there anybody open on that play?

I'm wondering what Jeanty will run. He's got great film but feels like that workout will have big impact given the depth of this class. I mean if he doesn't work out well then teams will think fuck it I'm gonna take something else here up high then go RB later.
