nah it was the punt return for a touchdown that allowed them to score with no time off the clock. Punting up by 16 wiht 8 min left?

If you'd have offered that scenario to the board a 100/100 would have taken that.

That drive led to that punt return.

.

I know how vent threads work and how heartbreaking losses can linger but is it maybe getting more 'trollish' and negative around here or does it just seem that way because I've been around less this year?

McVay is the best coach we've had in my 45 years. This team is one of the best in the league this year without question. Rams didnt enter the season as a SB favorite, they earned it over a tough schedule. They have been outstanding all year. Yeah they made mistakes last night, every team does every week, so what? We didnt lose because of mistakes or bad play calls or whatever. We lost because the refs gift-wrapped a dead ball into a 2 pt conversion for the Seahawks that saved them from losing outright.

There's a reason nobody has ever lost in that position in the 4th. Must be coincidence it only happened after the league got in bed with Vegas..

I love Shula I know he can figure out a way to fix this issue. Get back in the lab and cook us up something sick for the playoff run!

Last night we witnessed the fine art of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory…with a heaping helping of “assistance” from the zebras. I’m still sickened by all of it. :sick2:

"Blaming referees is loser talk" was one of the most important lessons my dad and my coaches taught me, and it's one I've taught my sons, and it's something that I fully and completely believe. I find the HUGE surge in recent years of blaming everything on referees when a favourite team loses by every fanbase of every sport ridiculous and almost certainly a byproduct of a couple generations in a row now of kids being raised with zero accountability for their own actions and their own performances.

THAT being said, last night's pathetic display of "officiating" was nothing short of an embarrassment. It reeked of at the very best the near complete incompetence most NFL referees have, and at worst as retribution for Nacua correctly pointing out NFL refs are garbage.

The league will be doing itself zero favours if it doesn't address not only last night's ridiculous display from the zebras but the overall piss poor officiating the league has AND its nearly unenforceable ruleset.

I heard on the "shay and Ocho show" that the league admitted that the 2 pt conversion should have been called an incomplete pass. Not sure if this is true or not, but I doubt the league does anything about trying to correct the trash calls or non calls for that matter.

They've given lip service to the idea of accountability with their after-game reports and all but if you were serious about this you would force out some of these officials and do a better job of developing them.

A fucking joke.
