I wouldn't take that.

On the trade value chart, that leaves us short - if the Giants want our pick, they should pay more than it's worth, not less.

Has the Rams trading down with NYG. Giants take Dart at 26 and Rams receive #34 and #99.

I wouldn't take that.

I agree we shouldn't settle. We would be trading OUT of the very valuable fifth-year-option First round, giving them another first for a quarterback, which is huge.

Newsflash: The Giants have #65 in the early third round. Now THAT is the deal.

The Rams are not the Giants little bitch.

Yeah, I'd require 65. Maybe throw a late round pick from next year to ease them into it. I'd be very happy to have 34 and 65

With so few teams wanting to trade up, that's probably as good as it gets. Giants arent giving up #65. If the Rams wont do it, another team will

I concur the draft trade tracker also has to factor in what the market allows. With that being communicated if the best you can get is the 34th & 99th, you take it and if that if that is the case, IMO, the pick will be TE Mason Taylor LSU.

Can't find a single trade value chart to remotely justify this trade, unfortunately. Even 34 and 99 slightly favors the Rams in both the Fitzgerald and Rich Hill charts. However, Rams should jump all over this trade if possible.

No doubt, draft chart is merely a guide, doesnt have to match up number for number
Giants look to move up
Rams #26 is worth 700, 34 & 99 is 664
Ravens, 1 spot later and also dont need a QB 680 points
Lions at 28, 660 points

Dropping 8 spots and getting a 3rd round pick is a good deal. Although I hope you're wrong about Taylor, I dont see the hype

I agree that we wouldn’t get their 65th but we could certainly get them to add pick 154 which knowing us could be where we draft one of our best players :)

BTW according to this mock is Derrick Harmon still available at pick 33? Sheeeeeet…

Especially for a QB.... so they should throw in a 5th... at worst we then throw in a 6th.

The fact is for a QB makes is worse not better, after Pitt at 21, every team drafting is set at QB and isnt a threat to take one

Also, the problem is the Vikings at 24 lack draft picks so they could be very willing to trade down and take a favorable deal to just get an extra 100 pick.

Umm... other teems will be doing the same thing the Giants are... The Browns, Saints, Jets, could all be on the phone with all those teams who are picking in the 20's. So they have outbid those teams.

Taylor has been rising up the boards, lineage and underutilized at LSU, plus Taylor has the ability to become a higher-volume target for a team looking to upgrade at the “F” tight end spot.

I like Taylor but he's most likely a guy with not much variance between floor and ceiling so your mileage on that with different people may vary. I definitely think he could be your third ranked passing game weapon (outside shot at 2nd) and a good blocker and underratedly unlock a full play-action arsenal of plays with his movement versatility.

If only 2 QB's go in the first 21 picks, rest assured there wont be 3 more taken after that via trade up. If the Rams can pick up a 3rd round pick for moving back 8 spots, its a great move. Unless they have a specific player in mind.
