Does this make everyone change their opinions on the current regime? I'm not sure it would for me. I guess it would depend on the style.
I predicted 9-7 in August. I also considered 9-7 a successful season.
I seriously doubt this team even sniffs a winning record now. Rams needed to get off to a good start. I stressed this repeatedly right here on this board. I even posted some historical percentages to show how teams that start slow, don't do good things. There were some ppl who dismissed that notion...for reasons i forget now. Something about "Fisher usually starts slow, no reason to panic if we don't start fast..." I'd call that low expectations.
There were also folks early who weren't worried about AZ winning games because they weren't Seattle or SF. Arizona is better than both of those teams IMO.
We aren't catching the Cardinals.
Rams needed to come out prepared and ready to win games right out of the gate, and show a will of purpose and a sense of focused urgency on every possession. Trying to solve pre snap penalties, coverage issues, mental lapses four weeks into the season will get you buried in this division quicker than shit.
3-2 wasn't too much to expect from the Rams.
