You don't really think that is going to happen ... Do you?

When Eric Dickerson broke O.J. Simpson's record in 1984, he did it in the 15th game, Simpson set the record in a 14-game season. Dickerson never got an asterisk ... Why would Barkley?
Oh—didn’t realize that! Or so old I had forgotten lol.

Records can only last so long. I hope he doesn’t break it, but if he does, he does. At least it wasn’t Chris Johnson.

I still think OJ’s record is the most impressive as he did in a time when a QB throwing for 200 yards was a great day, defenses played way more violently (and I don’t mean in a good way) and OL weren’t nearly as athletic, so they couldn’t get to the second level as often. So in that environment to get over 2k in 14 games is staggering.

Of course, he’s a POS murderer and I love that Dickerson took his record.

Any chance there’s a D that can stop him?

Has to average 121 yds per game to break the record.
As much as it would suck for Rams fans, Saquon finishes the season against the Giants. How cruel would that be for them to give up the record?

Agree on the OJ stuff. All of it.
As a football player rushing for over 2000 yards in a 14 game season…you can’t touch that. He had to break so many records to get THAT one, it was amazing. His last game was like some old timers story of walking to school in inclement weather. The Juice had to break the record by gaining over 200 yards…in the snow.
You telling me the jets didn’t figure it out? They knew what was coming and they couldn’t stop it.

I remember when he went over a thousand yards in the 7th game. It was on Monday night(I think they played the chiefs). The announcers wondered aloud if it was possible to hit 2000 by the end of the season. He did. An incredible season.

…but he did it. He killed those people.

It ain't happening. That's staying a Ram record.

LMAO - thought WTF after #26 went for that long run against The Rams.
The game before that he did the same thing against the Ravens.

That was like 300 yards Free !! Both defenses were just trying to make something happen to get the ball back. That’s the Power of Jalen Hurts !

Was watching Buffalo beating up on the Lions!! Man - Josh Allen locked up the MVP almost against The Rams . WOW !! still in shock.

Went to an upstairs of a bar (sports) & the Philly game was on right next to it.Probably one of the coolest sports bar experience of 2 games that were basically over ,but still meaningful.

Saw Barkley at 69 yards and a Chance to rack up free yards. My GF(Kyren 23) says you can tell he is a good RB,after I Said U was cheering against him.

Funny thing was he was at 69 & went to 64 on a 5 yard loss. Then he gained 1 more yard - I know exhausting story, but knew then his chances were numbered badly & his luck had run out.

Not out of the woods here, not by a long shot.
Philly has 3 games vs 3 lousy defenses and they are in the running for the #1 seed.

He might get there, but the workload almost always catches up when the playoffs arrive. It's been 20 years since a SB winner had a top 5 rusher.

Big day for Barkley today. 150 yards, including a 68 yard TD run. But Jalen Hurts being out meant it was much tougher to find room. 109 yards in the first quarter, but only 41 yards over the last three.

1838 with two to go.
