Now that Michael Sam is on the team I think there will be some confusion ahead.

When someone is talking about Sam you will always need to check if it relates to Sam Bradford or Michael Sam.

Just like in this thread. Which Sam came to mind when you saw the heading?

I shall hence forth refer to Bradford as SB. Because it has other connotations.
