We don't even run a 3-4, I don't even know what we run. But giving up three 40+ games this season, is something that I'm not happy with.
No, he's suppose to be a defensive minded yet his defenses have been awful (Lions, Pat's)Would anyone take a gamble on a Matt Patricia defense “if” available?
Rams haven't been able to hold a good team together since the 70s. If they replace Wade with Barry this will be McVay's "learning" job and he'll end up fired and pull a Belichick somewhere else.
Good times.
Because the coach can't execute the scheme. That requires players. No, he's suppose to be a defensive minded yet his defenses have been awful (Lions, Pat's)
I doubt that very much. Second guessing is already rampant and we are less than a year out from the Super Bowl.Rams could go 2-14 next year and Mcvay would not be fired.

Like this takeLet’s not lose our heads over Barry.
If Wade retires there will A-list names lining up to coach the future HOF’s — #99 and Jalen Ramsey.
We have a lot nice young talent, add more in the draft, and we attract free agents, it’s gonna be a really attractive job.
One thing is for sure - we need an infusion of coaching genius into this team. We have been hemorrhaging talent for a few years, especially on the offensive side.
At least this not-so-great season stopped the bleeding and we’ll get to keep some of our best coaching talent here, while at the same time providing an opportunity to bring in some big-time coaching talent On offense and defense.
Yeah the Barry part is worded where I think it's just the guy building off the rumor of Wade retiring and giving his guess that Barry would be a candidate. And I'd agree because McVay is the kind of guy who I'd think would give most of his current staff the opportunity to interview for it but doesn't mean anyone will get it.
IMO Marvez is guessing he does not realize that Joe Barry was an epic fail as a DC & as an Assistant HC that is where Barry is staying... Aubrey Pleasant is possible or a college DC as well
Yeah, I think he was just throwing a name out there, and a pretty obvious one. Part of the reason Barry is here is because he got fired in DC and his track record there was pretty bad. Let someone else give him a second chance at DC, we need a guy who is either proven or has at least shown potential to be a good DC. Barry falls into neither of those categories.

Barry is just a guess IMO. A bad guess at that.
On both sides of the ball our toughness at the LOS is what disappoints me most. We are pushed around too much, which means talent, and coaching scheme are a problem.
Why do other teams seem to make adjustments, yet we only play well if we start well? I can’t remember the last time the McVay-Phillips coached Rams started off in a hole, made coaching and blocking scheme adjustments, and took over a game.
While we are at it, remember those pics from the Seattle game of Donald being triple, and Quadruple blocked? How was that presented?
“Wow! Isn’t Donald amazing?!” Was the narrative.
Did anyone else look at that and think, WTF?!! Are the rest of our guys so lame that they can put four guys on Donald? I tell you what, Fowler, or Brockers, or somebody better have been stuffing a guy behind the line on those plays.
There has been a waning of talent on our D-line, and our Hall of Fame AD needs more help. His best years better not be defined by frustration and triple teams. That’s BS.
