For new years I made this pork with sauerkraut. I have quite a bit of shredded pork left and I think it'll make some awesome tacos with like a diced onion/cliantro/pinapple type topping. . . I am open to ideas if anyone has any. . .

What are you all making to close out the season and head into the playoffs?

I am putting some smokies in the crockpot pot plus some beans and weenies.

One of them Saturday and one of them Sunday.

Hamburger soup Saturday and Sloppy Joes Sunday.

Football man food.

I'm not the BBQ guy I used to be. My son is now the BBQ guy. If he comes over we'll probably have something like tri tip with potato and macaroni salads. If not, I'll pick up Papa Murphy's take and bake. Its still the best pizza in town. Probably get a 5 meat stuffed and Cowboy pizza. The Cowboy has pepperoni, sausage, olives and mushrooms.

I just diced up onion, green pepper, jalepeno, pineapple, and cilantro....the aroma is amazing.

A little lemon/lime juice to help help keep it fresh and into the fridge to marinate for tomorrow's tacos.

Today I am grilling some peri peri chicken and will serve with a rice salad. Low fat doesn't have to be low flavour.

Just as it sounds, cooked rice that you cool down and mix through with salad items - lettuce leaves, dressing, chopped peppers, sweetcorn etc etc.
