Neither IMO. We want to run it back. Woods will help far more with that than any low 2nd rounder.

While, I think the Draft Pick for any possible trade is very important I also think how much the Rams save on their cap space and if they have targeted any specific players either for trade or Free agency and need that cap space is also important on any Woods moves.

To "run it back".. they went out and got Robinson. The Rams offense with an adjusting Odell and Kupp was enough to win a Super Bowl. Get a full season of Robinson and I have little doubt the offense will be at least as good as last year, if not better.
A third round pick could be a starting guard or corner.. or a high level contributor at any number of positions.
Woodsie would be the #3 WR in the offense and Van actually fits very well in that roll. Sure.. it would be even better with Woods, but from a roster construction angle.. the draft pick could be important this year and in the future.

And I understand why they're making a move... I just want to see what they get back. I'm going to be bummed if it's less than a 3rd rounder.

Feels like the team had to make a choice between OBJ and Woods based on value.
I’m guessing they had an option for Woods to stay that would’ve involved a pay cut that he might not have wanted to take. If the money was the same I’d prefer Woods over OBJ but I’m guessing the $$$ isn’t the same

Wonder what the compensation is.
Hate to see Bobby Trees go, he was a consummate professional and I really missed seeing him on the jet sweeps, at which he was extremely effective. I understand the move from a football standpoint, particularly if they are going to keep OBJ (which they had damn well better now that they are letting Trees go) ... but man, it still hurts to see him go. Rarely do you get a FA signing that massively overplays his contract, but Bobby Trees did just that.
Good luck, dude, you'll be missed.

I’m guessing we could’ve gotten better but Snead was gonna try and do right by Woods.
