I'm a Cardinals fan...but I will always have a soft spot for the Pirates because of Clemente, even though they're in our division. Just one of the most wonderful, caring human beings of all time, someone that nobody had a bad word against, and that's not even mentioning how amazing he was as a player.

Parker was much the same. Talented ballplayer, but apparently a good human being as well. May he rest in peace and paradise.
