An all-time-favorite Angela Lansbury role for me was the incredibly-evil mother of the brain-washed-assassin in the original Manchurian Candidate ... a great film.
Number of years ago, my wife and I went to a Broadway play primarily because Angela Lansbury and James Earl Jones had supporting roles. The play was good. They were great. Even though it was a dramatic-play, the crowd roared so loud and long that each had to momentarily break character to acknowledge the cheers.
