They remind of the Lions a few years back.Arizona had a terrible defense last season (they gave up an average passer against rating of 102.9). Their head coach is a defensive sourced leader. So I think whatever happens for them this season it comes down to how well that side of the ball performs. They must make big strides there or they will end up bottom of the division.
They added some nice role players in FA on defense. But not enough to elevate that group by themselves. I like the selection of Robinson but what's their plan with him, he's the type of player who can disappoint if not used correctly, a bit of a tweener but he does have that rangy power I like in an edge. Melton who knows but I think their round 3 pick Benson is a stud.
Offensively can their tackles hold it down. They're 4th in this division barring a big uptick on defense and establishment of a power run game.
And last year was his first healthy season in a while...another thing to keep an eye on.I agree. They are getting older in places too, like McCaffery.
I wish that was true. I really do. I hate the fucking 49ers. Unfortunately, they are formidable. And last year was his first healthy season in a while...another thing to keep an eye on.
He is due for an unhealthy year.I wish that was true. I really do. I hate the fucking 49ers. Unfortunately, they are formidable.
McCaffrey played 16 games in 2022, with 329 combined carries and receptions.
Almost identical as last year ... 16 games and 339 touches.
Possible, depending on how MacDonald settles in as the HMFIC. But personally I think MacDonald is a hell of a defensive mind, and his hire of OC was particularly astute. Those two should be a tough combo schematically to face.I’ll say this, I think AZ finishes ahead of Seattle by a game or two.
