First of all....
Sex v Football
Anyone that answers football to this needs some serious review of their life's priorities.
Offense v Defense
- I have a slight preference for D.......
* O has one goal...score.
* D has a primary goal...prevent the other team from scoring. BUT...they can score as well.
- Overall, I like games where the final score is something in the 27-24 range. Games that are 10-6 or 49-45 are equally boring. As a general rule of thumb, the 27-24 type games have usually had some good give & take on both sides of the ball.
- But only slightly less important than either O or D is Special Teams. ST can have a major impact on field position, scoring, AND putting the opposition in a position to not succeed. IMO, too few teams give ST the attention it deserves.
OLine v Skill positions
If you have a preference here, you're thinking too much. Every team needs both.
Pocket Only passers v Dual Threats
Running game v Passing game
Zone blocking v Power Blocking
Spread v Play Action
Risk/Reward players v Safe players
Speed v Power
Youth v Vets
Production v Potential
Pass rush v Coverage

Players Coach v Disciplinarian

Old School v Next Gen
For all the above....
Who gives a fat rat's patooty. Win me an avg of 10 games per year, and I'm happy.
Great coaching v Great Players
Great players are great regardless of coaching. They may be greater with great coaching, 'but'......
Blue & White/ Old Gold/ Modern Look
None of the above. Give me the current blue with the old gold.
Sorry to the old, lifelong, Rams fans, but the blue & whites are a snooze fest.
Div II College Production v SPARQ
Production is always key, but measures such as SPARQ (as weakly as I understand them) probably should be a more significant factor in rating small school players.
Rudy v Lawrence Phillips before you knew he couldn't rehabilitate
LA v St Louis
Niners v Pats
More Replay/ No Replay
As an Owner: Money v Loyalty
99 Rams v 01 Rams: who wins the game
For all the above......Snore!!!!!
