Tavon Austin - WR - Rams

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Tavon Austin (knee) will play Sunday against the Eagles.
Austin sprained his MCL in Week 2 and is listed as questionable on the injury report. He'll man the slot in three-wide sets and face off with Philadelphia's best corner Brandon Boykin. Austin is lightyears from fantasy relevance.

Hopefully he is a bog part of our game plan. Speed is a perfect agent against an Eagles defense that is overworked and tired from practice :sneaky:

If they put their best corner on Austin then Quick is going to break their hearts.

Hope he's completely healthy. Not sure I like this decision otherwise. Knee injuries can kind of sap your speed and cutting ability, and those are the abilities that make Tavon great. If he's not 100% or close, he's not effective. I guess we'll find out soon.

However, he could still be a solid punt returner at 50%, better than Pettis at least. So it's not all bad.

This is good news, id rather have austin out there than givens

GO OFF ON THEM TA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, and no knee brace.....I'm so against the braces on skill position players....
But he's still trying to make the whole defense miss instead of turning up field and making the first guy miss
