I had to turn the game off in the first quarter, I just get too angry. I later had my wife check the final score and then watched it. The way that game started I was like oh shit! The young Rams played hard, Kendricks best game as a Ram, the OL had a nice game, and Stafford showed his toughness and leadership. Oh, and our kicker however you say his name hit the game winner.

You find out the score then watch the game?

What kind of absurdity is this?

It's not the 1970s.

Hopefully McVay has learned that he needs a run game to make his offense work.

There is no longer any question that Puka is Kupp v. 2

The OL can pass protect when defenses have to account for the run game. It's what I've been harping at for months.

Why is Henderson the #1 RB right now? Freeman is clearly the superior RB.

Jackson isn't the answer at LT. RT if he would accept it. Jackson's lack of technique is really obvious during the course of the game.

Stafford's thumb is more of a problem than they are admitting. A whole lot of his deep passes are off target. His missing Kupp for the TD, and Stafford was bailed out on uncatchable passes twice to Atwell. He's never missed those passes so badly when he's healthy. He looks fine out to the intermediate zone but beyond that he's very inconsistent.

An ugly win is better than a gallant loss. It's part of the growing pains.

Pleasant's influence continues to show with them playing more man coverages than before he was hired.

Both Turner and Brown play better when they aren't two gapping. Brown needs to learn how to shed.

Lake has the speed and agility to cover as a SCB in the short to intermediate zones. But he will need safety help if extended beyond that. He's showing he's going to be a very good in the box SS.

This team can go 9-8 if McVay and Morris keep this up and that is what we learned in this game. The personnel haven't changed it's how they are being used.

I laughed like hell when Donald flattened Geno. There is no question in my mind that the Seahawks will draft a QB to replace Geno next year. After watching him this year I believe what my family is telling me about Seattle's interest in Penix and Nix.

This is why I watch the games after taking a 100mg gummie…

I’m cool as the other side of the pillow and chill as November morning in Minneapolis

Beats the shit out of being so amped up after the game that I can’t sleep all night long (which was EVERY GAME during the Super Bowl season)

I also shout a LOT less and I’m less grumpy if we lose so the wife is happier

Downside is that I’m just about bolted to my recliner

Also, why is it I’m ignored most of the 168 hours a week EXCEPT for the three hours of the Rams game???

This team needs another beast draft to get us where we need to be, especially with depth. We need a draft like this one.

LMFAO I used to do that occasionally when I was working. If they won then it was worth a beer and chips for 3 hours. If they lost why bother, just have the beer and chips then take the wife out to dinner that night. Why suffer through 3 hrs to watch them get beat?

It's nice now because for the games I can't watch live I can watch the full game replay on NFL 5 min after the game. If they lost I can simply watch the condensed replay, i.e. just the highlights. If they won I can watch the full game focusing on players or certain aspects of the game. That's how it is when you live outside of the TV market. This all can be done at my convenience. When I lived in SD I had Direct TV and simply recorded the games to watch when it was convenient.

I swear I have always had this commitment to watch the game no matter how bad it was. Before this year I would watch every game to the end. I was sort of raised that way, taught I was not a real fan unless I watched till the end. On a personal level I was also curious to see how everyone performed as well.

But this year, I have taken a F the game approach if it gets too bad. Did that with the Cowboys game. Getting to old to waste time for a shitshow and we are clearly in a cap strapped depleted roster year.

Told my wife during halftime that I would head to the gym if things got out of hand but honestly never felt we were going to lose this game so stuck it out. Kind of a pathetic game to watch but was good for some laughs so glad I watched.

Plus I had Puka in Fantasy so was having fun watching him punch my fantasy playoff ticket.
