I think the guy has talent but I don't think he is very smart. IE -handling stunts, learning new techniques, etc. He will tryout somewhere else next year and will probably get cut again.
I think it may actually be the opposite, according to what Jourdan has said in the past about why he was still on the team. Her speculation was bc he has the knowledge to run the system, but he doesn't have the talent to execute the system.

"In just 314 offensive snaps this season, Evans was flagged for three penalties and allowed seven quarterback sacks. His Pro Football Focus grade for the 2022 NFL season is an alarming 29.8."

Rams waive Bobby Evans, activate Chandler Brewer

The Los Angeles Rams made three roster moves ahead of Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers, including the release of Bobby Evans. He’s been waived from the 53-man roster and replaced by Chandler Brewer, who’s officially activated off injured reserve. The Rams also elevated Jared Pinkney from the practice squad for Week 17.

Evans was a third-round pick out of Oklahoma in 2019, so he’s the second player from that class to be cut this season; Darrell Henderson Jr. was waived last month. Evans was active for 12 games and started four games, struggling mightily throughout the year. He was only in line to be a backup this year but injuries forced him into a starting role.

Brewer started two games in Weeks 9 and 10, playing every snap in each of those games before injuring his knee and landing on IR. With Brian Allen out, Brewer provides depth along the offensive line behind the starters and could compete with Oday Aboushi or Matt Skura for a starting spot at guard.

Hrm... Hopkins maybe. Or Kendrick.

REALLY??? Dude WAY OFF!!

You must have missed Sean Mcvay’s interview & how good Hopkins played last week. Unless your expecting him to get worse?

Kendrick was a STARTING CB as a 6th rd pick. Once again REALLY?

Yes Durant has earned the right to be the starter & maybe should have been in a couple weeks earlier.

RR31 got beat out by Kendrick so you might have something there.

Seems odd they played him soooo much during the season (while all of us yelled at the TV and complained here against it) - and then now waive him. Good they came to their senses. But concerning that it took them so long. One thing to keep him on the roster - but they kept playing him. Imho, he personally had a hand in Stafford getting hurt.

Damn - he also was the reason Tampa Bay came back.I swear I was actually yelling in front of people just about lossing my mind.
Made me think about when would HC tell a position coach to bench that guy!! I couldn’t believe it. He would just let the defender come in after Stafford like he was mad at him and wasn’t going to play.

What took so long? Running Evans out there game after game, weather as first off the bench or as a starter made me question coaches ability to evaluate, and not just this season. Again,. What took so long?

I despise Kendrick ever since seeing his totally weak effort to tackle Travis Kelce, letting Kelce score a TD for Kansas City. Kendrick literally turned his back and just bounced off Kelce. Should have benched him instantly for that.
