That period 76-79 I was dating this little gal who was just hotter than a four alarm fire. There was just one problem. She had 5 brothers all Cowboy fans. And some how we all always seemed to end up watching the games together. Looking back now its a wonder I made it out alive. I was screwing their sister and a Ram fan to boot. But you know what? I would do it all over again, dam she was hot!

That '79 playoff game vs Dallas was the first playoff game i ever sat down and watched from start to finish. I was a fresh young 10 yr old Rams fan :) Good stuff.

I'm always amazed going back in time to watch these games, and looking at the differences in formations and personnel compared to what we see today...especially offensively.

Didn't know that the Rams current WR coach was the Vikings Offensive Coordinator.

ehhh got ya beat...ex wife had 7 brothers and step brothers and she along with all the brothers were 49ers fans

pisses me off when I think about it now...we got divorced in 1998

God Pat Haden could not throw the ball, Rams had Harris & Jaworski on the bench two howitzers and they went with the pea shooter! Just never liked Haden, but Carroll Rosenbloom did.

Ah shoot...I'll just visit here on the down time....
Youngsters...we was good in the 70's....real good....check the tape...that's what a top run defense does...nothing was easy...and Dallas had some serious backs..serious O-Line..and a very mobile QB...So I don't wanna hear about how good THIS year teams defense is, or is gonna be...give me some stats...season long stats...not some game vs a dead Raiders team....Lets see where they are after 5 weeks in 2015...
