BTW

We won the turnover battle and had a key stop late in the 4th quarter.

With soft coverages and no pass rush.
I thought the pressure was pretty solid tonight, of course I stay far away from the D vs O shit. It makes me a bit batty

I will say I was rather impressed by Tutu tonight. After being one of the hardest ones here in regards to the Tutu pick it was nice to actually see him out there with some production and being successful.

I’m sure after tonight that gave him a load of confidence! I hope to continue to watch him prove me wrong.
Necessity forced McVay to use him.. otherwise, we may never have seen this.

I've never really had much of an opinion on Baker before this season but fuck it I'm calling it now... I want him back next year as Stafford's backup and heir apparent!!

You can't tell me that McVay wasn't feeling it tonight after a win like that and Baker wasn't feeling the appreciation from a team that desperately needed a jump start after the rough start to his career on trash teams like the Browns and Panthers!

We put that man out there with our 3rd string offense and less than 2 days of practice and he does that??

I was watching Mayfield's demeanor when things weren't going well. I liked what I saw. He's matured ..... something Kyler never will do. He was also going thru two and three progressions which on 48 hours prep is impressive. Again something he couldn't do early in his career.

No more ragging on Baker. He played tough gritty football and lifted this team when it needed it most. For that he earned my respect.

So I've said for a couple years now...the fact that we don't have 1st round picks...that puts us in a position where IF a QB fell out of favor with another team....and was starting to look like a bust...to see them come to the Rams,....with the team culture we have.... It would be interesting to see if McVay could rehabilitate a guy like that.

I thought it may be like a Mariota...a Tribisky... ..or maybe Darnold or even Zach Wilson....

never thought it would be Baker Mayfield. But people should remember his 2020 was really solid. Maybe he wasn't worth a 1st overall pick....but he likes to Chunk the ball around and he's with a coach who loves to chunk it up.

Shocking this happened and he's been here since Tuesday

but there is nothing better than seeing Raider fans sad.

One thing you have to wonder about as I watched Stafford interacting with Mayfield. Does Mayfield make it easier for Matt to retire after the season, knowing he wouldn't be leaving his team in a bad situation?

Is that the real reason Snead and McVay grabbed Mayfield? Perhaps they know something that isn't public? This seems too much like the "accidental meeting in Cabo".

Fucking Skip Bayless is going to go fucking ape shit tomorrow morning over Bakers performance! :laugh4:

I don’t care much for him but I gotta watch that!

This dude hates on Sean McVay but loves Baker. That's gotta be fuckin with SKIIIIIUUUPPPP.
