The problem with Goff is, he turns to shit under pressure and that is way McVay moved on from him.

I would say Goff is a much better QB than Crapola. But that is just my opinion. And you know what they say about opinions....

You know what’s really F”D UP about your post ?

Your opinion is fine & probably an easy easement .

Why talk CHIT about The Rams QB even if you don’t like him.Unless you don’t think Jimmy G is a solid backup QB

Around the league he is known as a solid backup QB.. As a Ram though he is a backup.

Maybe you still butt hurt from him beating The Rams and going to the Superbowl,or your fantasy Ram is still Jared Goff. There both losers of the Playoffs.
Maybe it’s he was a Raider or won a Superbowl with NE.The lather for me would be that he wins a Super Bowl with the Rams as a backup like in NE.

Well, IMO, I am willing to bet the house that McVay trusts Garoppolo more than he ever did Goff.
That's true in 2020 but 2024 Goff - not so sure

However, Campbell is a much more aggressive coach than McVay and allows Goff to be extremely aggressive and sometimes that will come back to haunt Goff.

I don't think Crapola is much better under pressure. I remember the 2021 pass to end the championship game. That was a horrible decision by Crapola.

Note - I probably shouldn't call him crapola anymore since he is a Ram now but that 49er stink is really hard to wash off.

I do not agree, sorry. Goff played well in many pressure situations including in NO in the divisional game. He suffered a SB hangover and has gone on to repeatedly play well in Detroit. Well enough to get back to a SB? Yes, but not his team as a whole. Jimmy maybe as good if you look at his career but is playing for considerably less. It’s been a win for the Rams but that takes nothing away from Goff

Further proof people will never get over Jared.

Well finally feeling I’m on the same page with you.

Still as an Old Ram Fan who always likes the underdog & players developing by working hard.Going to training camp(scrimmage actually). It gives me a little conviction. It’s not that I can’t or don’t change my mind either.

Biggest example is Cooper Kupp. When Ram Fans watch him in there color will be surprised how much better any of The Rams QB’s will be. Especially if(no jinx) if his 100%.

I’ll just say last year Mcvay learned a lesson. The 3 (4) players who earned there way in his system are back again leading the way.If they start ,sit the bench, whatever the effort will be there.

Ahkello
Shelton
Alaric
Reeder
— players not SO much imo

Kendrick
Noteboom
Bruss
Johna Jack(salary)
-can’t say JJ43-true Ram
Bobby Brown

I’ll add MURCH - he might get cut,but man he has just continued to work hard.

Nick Hampton is a player when Mcvay talks good about him.I never get.He did have an INT & a posible TFL ? Still he doesn’t get off the ball.

Having Bennet working with Jimmy G & Stafford is only making him better.Besides the best looking QB room in The NFL as the rumors have it.

Agreed. I remember that if you can pressure him, you can beat him. He had a very very good offensive line during his time in San Francisco

I was over Jared the day he was no longer in horns. Wished him the best, but I am loyal to the blue & gold, or is it blue & yellow? Or Royal blue & Sol Yellow?

Yes but around here it's just him :D

The original post mentioned being better under pressure, to which I stated against that. Nobody is saying it’s just him. I like Jimmy G. I wanted him when the pats were moving on…but he’s not better than Goff. Goff has gone pass for pass with some of the best. Jimmy G has to have the right situation. There’s nothing wrong with that.

He hasn't had to rely on Jimmy in a must-win game in January yet. So everything's rainbows and unicorns.
