I've been saying he may not be 100% yet but who knows?
That isn't what the local reporters are saying. They say he's perfectly healthy and has been that way for a while. A while ago they said he needed to knock off some rust but at this point it seems like a lot more than just rust if he still can't get on the game day roster.

Like others have said, this seems strange.

I can't imagine there are too many guys better than what they have right now. It's a little weird.

I agree. I saw five guys whose name I didnt recognize and Nick Toon.

Nothing to see here.

They all seem to lend credence to my line of thinking, they're all basically the same mold. 4th or 5th receivers who run great routes and have good hands

It's kind of embarrassing. It looks like all the abuse we take for having an inferior WR corp by the National Media has merit...It's like pulling Olinemen from the NFL scrap heap a few years back...:wtf:

I'd rather just have Austin Pettis back, honestly, but I guess he's no longer welcome here for whatever reason.

.

nfl teams try out players all the time. there's no story here.

the real story is why the oc can't answer simple questions about the teams best wr. ask the hc about that? really?

If Quick doesn't play tomorrow then they need to answer some damn questions about what's going on. He's not on injury reports so he needs to be on the field. I'm getting concerned about what's going on.

That's what is so frustrating... The lack of information. Not sure why the Rams are being so secretive, like its really a competitive advantage? Please.

Exactly. They're not fooling anyone. Kind of like how in preseason they run a vanilla offense. Like anything the Rams do is something other teams haven't seen hundreds of times. Just nonsense. But that's why I don't listen to coaches talk in interviews or news conferences. They never say anything besides mostly coach speak.

I'm really worried about quick. Him not playing because "we couldn't justify giving him a spot on the playing roster yet" but tying out no named receivers? I dunno guys

I think there is a lot of assuming going on here! who is to say anything at all is going on with Quick or anyone else!
As the Old saying goes; " When you assume something, it makes an ass-of-u and an ass-of-me!"

Teams try out players where they're thin due to injuries or some other reason, not just for the heck of it. Btw why have our fine Rams scribes written nothing about this? Florio has to bring it up.

If they really are frustrated that nobody can get open then all I have to say is that it was a great decision to let Amendola go.............NOT.

I am a little worried about Quick. That injury was not a minor setback. It was a major setback. Before he started showing why they picked him so high I was beginning to think he wasn't sharp enough mentally to grasp what it takes to play in the NFL. And the improved play wasn't exactly a large sample size. 7 games. Has he reverted to his previous ways? Is he not able to grasp Cignetti's offense? So far I haven't heard the good things about him we were hearing in last year's training camp.

Any of these guys practice squad eligible?

Any of these guys ever spent time with Pittsburgh, Green Bay, or Arizona?

Maybe it's time to admit to ourselves that our WR corps sucks. I'm hoping Britt can start playing better but we have at this point no play makers at the WR or RB position. I just don't understand why Quick is not playing. We need Quick and Gurley for this offense to take off. The guys playing right now don't scare anybody.

Depending on what our needs are after FA and stuff, I'd be willing to invest a high pick into our WR group. Not sure that's the best option, throwing more young talent in there, but honestly our guys aren't producing.

Don't know about Practice Squad eligibility, but no, none of them have played for any of those teams. Vast majority of them are Vikings rejects actually.

As listed on the link excluding Toon, it goes Whiners, Vikings, Vikings Vikings, Colts and I can't even find proof that Taylor Washington even fucking exists.
