Things that stood out to me... other than the general beat down.

-McClendon... I've said before.. I'm not sure how good he really is.. but, he's been very, very solid. Feels like a league-average RT, at worst. No penalties.. no dumb plays.. no sacks.
-Mumpfield... sure, it's one play.. but, I like the way the kid can get open. He just has the makings of a guy who's going to be on an NFL roster for a decade. Maybe he never gets above WR4 on any team.. but he'll be a valuable #4.
-Darious Williams... did he jump in a Time Machine a few weeks back? This is the D Williams who earned a big contract. He's just been huge. If they add one more corner (although Forbes was very solid today) and get Witherspoon back.. the defensive backfield may be a strength at that point.
-Terrance Ferguson... just nice seeing a guy that big move that well and catch the ball that easily. I have no doubt he's going to be a weapon.. and will make an impact this season.

-Running game was lacking today. Thoughts?

-The Rams continue to not let up many points. Second in the league and we'll see where they are after tomorrow's Texans game.

Did Tutu play less snaps after that hit? Why are you assuming he got banged up?
He did get up wincing in pain and then I don't recall him being out there really. Smith and Mump were out there every time I thought about it. Not sure if he did get snaps after that or not.

We need one more weapon to step up to give us that third weapon in the pass game behind Nacua and Adams. Once you get into the playoffs there will be secondaries with their shit together well enough to handle two matchup problems.

Keep waiting for Tutu but at this point it's become a meme, so he's going to be that dude who shows up randomly but that won't move the chains on the regular. Probably the best chance of doing that would be either Ferg or Mump.

Ferg separates so easily from defenders. He should have had a second TD but couldn't haul it in. His size and movement are problems for defenses. I think his time is here now. Will be surprised if we don't see more of him going forward.

From a stats point of view, unusual that Stafford had 5 tuddies but only 182 yards passing in total. Nice touch on the endzone passes. 5-2 sets us up for a good run.

It's much better than 400 yards and 1 td. Keep the tds flowing and the Rams will not lose.

If he keeps getting open and Higbee keeps dropping passes, might be in a featured role soon.

So instead of a celebration thread, we have people bitching about Tutu not playing a full game after coming back from an injury?
GTFO of here with your whining shit.

We saw today why Puka is special and Whittington is just another wr. That diving grab he tried to make in the 1st half but came up empty, Puka would have swallowed that up.

Do you think they'll bring Lake back? This McSnead brain trust is notorious for letting the DBs walk. Have they resigned any DBs to a long-term contract?
Great question.
Too early to tell, but the situation looks to be in Lake’s favor right now. Lake is a team captain and having his best season while playing an integral role in this defense. NOT re-signing him would mean a starting Safety tandem of Kinchens and McCollough because I don’t see bringing back Curl and NOT Lake. I don’t CURRENTLY see either of those guys filling Lake’s shoes and being moved around like the Rams move around Lake.

With only 2 Safeties on the field, the star position becomes the 3rd CB. The Rams don’t have that kind of depth to have 3 CBs on the field with a decent 4th in waiting (injuries, etc.).

Not drafting a CB this year could bite the Rams in the ass in more ways than one.
