So do I. But logically that has little to do with Parkinson, who ensures the team won't be short at TE if Allen requires a little time.I don't know. I still want to see how Allen turns out; I think he could be Higbee, but better.

Aside from the great size dude has some nice hands.Clearly, the Rams have some first hand knowledge here, as he’s coming from Seattle.
Big dude: 6’7, 251.
Clearly a move motivated by Higbee’s injury.
Yea for sure, the more I read the more I'm liking this move. He's an underrated blocker and has more talent than he's been able to show thus far. I bet we had a solid grade on him coming out three years ago.Yeah if Allen is starter material then Higs will be phased out. Depends on Allen really. But I have to say that given that I expected to endure a subpar TE position this year this is a pleasant surprise. And it makes sense because this year's TE draft class is weak.
Rams just got tougher up front basically. That's really good for facing the shitters too btw. I like the direction for sure.![]()
You're pretty down on Jackson with multiple posts in his thread. But you ain't gonna find many who agree with you. Detroit had the best line in the league and he was part of that equation. A lot of people think its a very good signing. I'm one of them.I don't see anything suggesting that Jackson is an elite run blocking guard. His PFF rating does not suggest that at all. I can't claim to have watched him play specifically much, but, I doubt he's elite. He may improve with us, but, he is also coming from a great line.
Not "Dumb"The Parkinson contract makes that Higbee extension look even dumber.
I agree. I thought it was odd when it was signed, and now burned us.Not "Dumb"
More like ... Ill-timed and Unfortunate.
When Higbee signed the extension he was a valued veteran that, despite often being Banged-up, almost always Suited-Up on Sunday.
A devastating knee injury in January (on a dirty hit) made Tight End more of a priority than it would have been.
And how about “You’re an Idiot” emoji?Mods, we need a sad face emoji.
From what little I know about Parkinson, he seems more complimentary to Allen. I can see Allen as more of a receiving threat while CP can be more inline, but also versatile enough to get out into the route tree and cause mismatches.I don't know. I still want to see how Allen turns out; I think he could be Higbee, but better.

Parkinson feels a bit like the Robert Woods signing where he had never really shown to be as good as he did with us and everyone trashed us for the signing at first
