No matter how many times Troy Reeder hits the free-agent market, he always seems to make his way back to Los Angeles – whether with the Rams or the Chargers. He signed one-year deals with the Rams in each of the last two years and on Thursday, Los Angeles brought him back once again.

He agreed to another one-year contract with the Rams, re-joining the team he started his career with in 2019. Reeder played just six games last season before landing on IR with a hamstring issue, missing the remainder of the campaign.

When news broke of his return Thursday, it was met with overwhelmingly negative reactions from fans on social media. Needless to say, they aren’t excited to have Reeder back in a Rams uniform despite the fact that he’s a former starter.


The reaction stems from Reeder’s struggles throughout his tenure in L.A., from missed tackles to lapses in coverage. Yet, the Rams see value in having him on the roster.

If any of you have ever been to a Rams training camp in The Last 10 years you’d know about a Texas(Baylor) Ram in 2015.Plus Cory Littleton.This is just like that in a way with Reeder.He beat out 2018 draft pick who ALL you HATERS thought was going to be a starter(UVA) at MLBer.Reeder beat him out.2021/22.

Go back & look at The Rams Super Bowl run.He might not be the best.EJ53 came in & took over to finish the deal(thank goodness).

He gets it done in the end.He can be a core special teams guy as well.
