As much as I'm surprised at the quick demise of our team it really isn't a shock given the injuries. We know how this team is built, a handful of big names sprinkled with descent starters. I've thought for a few seasons now that if we had serious injury issues we lacked the depth to handle it and succeed. That will really show now if Stafford is out for any length of time. We do NOT have a quality back up QB. How can any team expect to thrive in that scenario? This would be a lot different if we were losing like this without having been decimated by the injuries. Right now though it is what it is and unfortunately there's no quick fix in sight.

Robinson, Jefferson, and Skrow is a colossal fall off from Kupp, Woods, and Cooks or Kupp, OBJ, and Jefferson.

But, we stick with these 3 wr sets like its a religious edict or something.

Of course, since we don't have a good blocking TE or FB, I guess we have to stay with what has proven to be incapable of scoring very many points or get key short yardage first downs.

Why not try some split backfields formations with Akers, Hendo, and/or Williams?

3rd and 9 he is in man coverage and has his eyes in the backfield - lets a dude younger than him go sailing right by him for a TD.

It's been a long time since he had a bad game like this... but it happened.

are you serious bro lol... he was in man to man defense and the guy ran right by him.

I think we are talking about two different plays

I am talking about the play where the receiver pushed off on him in the end zone and cut to the right

Ramsey was in the end zone before the receiver even got to him on a 3rd and long play iirc

That is just a dumbshit defensive assignment by Morris

I am just so annoyed with how Morris hands out his defensive assignments now

The Ty Nsekhe injury really pissed me off, what the hell can the Rams do. Bobby Evans is just destined to play on the OL and there is nothing the Rams can do about it.

I'm really frustrated with the secondary play of both Kendrick & Rapp and don't understand why Kendrick is playing over Durant or Jolly. Kendrick is very slow and can't man plus is not that good in zone. Bench Kendrick please and go with Durant or Jolly who are far better in press man.

Also Rapp has proven he can't cover a bed, so it's time to try Lake or Yeast please add that Rapp is gone after this year and it gives Lake & Yeast an opportunity to showcase their talents for next year too.

Well.... the issue was that on 2nd and 23 we let them gain 15 yards - this has been a repeated failure schematically throughout the year.

The 3rd and 9 play we were actually playing cover 1 man for once.... that was on Ramsey.

Yeah that did suck and the 3rd and 9 I never did look at the replay

I was too pissed off at the first TD that was 100% on Morris and then seeing Evans having to come in at LT

I just couldn't take it anymore after the Olave TD

Agreed, but he does seem to trust himself to cover either. Again he plays so far off the receiver because he's afraid of getting beat deep, that it's an easy completion in front of him for several yards consistently.

I understand that Kendrick was a draft choice, but IMO, Shaun Jolly offers more upside, he's played in press man and I would like to see him get a chance.

Oh I agree 100% that we need to get Kendrick out of there. He might be a decent back-up slot CB which is fine for a few plays here and there but don't want him starting.
